This is most likely an unpopular opinion but I hated Liberty, Emma and Manny in season five because they were so mean, bratty, selfish, whiny, rude, disrespectful, snobby, prissy and acted like spoiled brats which is so out of character

Good thing that Emma, Manny and Liberty went back to their real selves in season six, heck I liked them in season four to be honest

I take back what I said about Liberty, Emma and Manny in season five because they had some bad moments but they also have some good moments, and I’m so glad that they matured at the end of the season

This season is when Degrassi really started to get deeper into their storylines. The first four seasons were good but I think season 4 was the season that changed Degrassi a lot. Not in a bad way, but it just made Degrassi more iconic than what it already was. I think people started taking the show a lot more serious after the school shooting episode and how intense, scary, and realistic it was

Caroline Ayan Oh no, I agree. Season 5 was alright but nothing spectacular. Personally, I enjoyed every TNG season all the way up to 14 but my favorite seasons would have to be 1,2,3,4,6,7,9,10,11, and 12. 13 and 14 were alright but started becoming way too much with every character looking perfect and being wealthy

I loved season 5 ...we got jay and emma..Paige iconic so high...jay messing with everybody...Marco telling his dad he was gay ...season 6,7 wasn't good at the time to me it dropped the ball but in later re watches the writers did a good job keeping the stories going especially college which weren't that great of stories but they tried season 9 was pretty good and 10 is when they stepped it back up

I miss The-N so much with all the awesome shows

Yeah I mean it’s a drama. If you’re saying that they wouldn’t get away with it today I disagree. Many of the problems these fictional characters face and still relevant today! It’s what made the show so relatable. But maybe you’re right. Either way it was a great run

Every season deserved these darker promos. Seasons 1-4 had terrible promos and made everything seem lighthearted

I remember being so scandalised by some of these promos when I was a kid, especially Paige’s 😂

Degrassi was always going there I believe that is why some of us are not as shocked to see things Ike this being aired on tv these days

the katrina promos are so incredibly powerful. i miss when tv was used to unite the population instead of taking money from them.
