THE MEXICAN ACTREES MARIA FELIX SHE WAS THE AVA GARNER OF THE LATIN MOVIES..!!

The first time I saw Ava Gardner was probably in the disaster movie "Earthquake" or when she portrayed Sarah in John Huston's movie about the Bible. She aged beautifully, was so striking in middle age.---I don't know the details but someone, maybe an interviewer, said something that might be described as high-minded about acting and movies to Miss Gardner who replied, "For the loot, honey, always for the loot". I don't know much about Ava Gardner but I believe that being discovered got her out of a possible life of poverty where she was growing up.----Not long after Ava Gardner died I read an article about the latter part of her life. Miss Gardner had had a stroke and pneumonia, felt like she was getting pneumonia again, and told her housekeeper-companion, "I don't want to live anymore". Years later, I think it was on the TV program "Biography" , one of Ava Gardner's friends, to my best recollection, said of her, "I don't think she was happy. I don't think she felt actualized as a human being".
