The secret organisation of the 'Golden Lily'
The intriguing World War II mystery that is commonly referred to as Yamashita's Gold.
It was claimed that the Japanese authorities in conjunction with yakuza gangsters, allegedly looted a vast amount of valuables on a massive scale from the then occupied territories towards the end of the war.
It was intended for this loot to fund the Japanese war effort.
Imperial Japan’s own gold reserves had shrunk dramatically paying for its military.

About forty years ago I got a book at called Coronova’s Children. He was a Spanish explorer in the Americas and his quest was for gold and silver. The book is about people who found treasures and then couldn’t find them later when they had acquired the help to transport it. One story was about some Spanish explorers who were leading a few burros packed with gold to civilization. The pace was slow and one day they thought they were being trailed by Indians. They buried the gold and built a wall out of rocks on top of it as a fort in case of attack. The Indians didn’t attack and they decided to leave the gold and come back later with more men for protection. The wall would be the marker where the treasure was buried. They never found it. Many years later some cowboys were by the fire at night telling stories and one told of this story. “I know where that is, I always wondered who build a wall in the middle of nowhere!” said one of them. He never found it. I told this story to a friend and he told me a modern version of it. Two men had a sail boat and it got caught on a sand bar. One jumped off to push the boat and his foot hit something solid in the sand. It looked like a lead bar so he tossed it into the boat and then into the hold with the lead ballast. At the end of the season they took the boat out of the water for a cleaning and storage for the winter. Then they noticed that the bar was really gold. They learned scuba diving and spent years looking with out success.

funny how this is not included in Philippines history book. but we got families here who got wealthy real quick after the japanese left on the end of ww2. and also dont forget why marcos got ridiculously rich.

lol the Marcos IS already rich due to its bloodline mate. you know why it didn’t include this in our textbooks our history books? Because the Aquinos are the ones making it during their reign in presidency. They want the marcos to be a dictator in the eyes of the children to those who have never been born in that timeline. The treasure still untouched even the marcoses still have the portion of the treasure.

Eh, I beg to differ.. Marcos being a dictator is not excusable, however, the Marcos family is already rich even before world war 2. The claims of Rogelio Roxas will forever be just a claim because even his son declared that his father never got a Gold statue.
Some say that in the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos Face statue inside of it has the Yasahamita Gold. After being vandalised and Destroyed. its not there.
Up to now here in the Philippines, there’s still an expedition looking for Yamashita’s gold. You can even buy a yamashita treasure map. Lol
Finally, a content about the yamashita gold!!!
The Yamashita Gold were not in put in a single place. They were hidden under rocks and creeks in small amounts. They were all marked in an interesting way like a compass. In a way these marks were no where near the golds themselves as I was told. These marks are hidden in plain sight only those that have a knowledge in what those marks mean would only know it. I saw one of this marks as a child but the supposed treasure were already taken. Lesson is "If a big project comes to town then something might be up especially if its Japanese"
When my family still lived in the Philippine's, one of my relatives shelled around 1 billion pesos or 21m usd of life savings just to find yamashita's gold, he had mental issues and deficiencies, his family's side never truly recovered, my family still talks about it ,there were rumors going around in certain places where it was buried, non really brought upon anything.

1:44 The cart wouldn't be around after a few months. In saltwater, specifically in the oceans and seas, wood is eaten by various organisms very fast. It's why there's usually no wooden shipwrecks in the ocean.
