The Mystery of the Kailasa Temple of India | Ancient Architects

The enigmatic Kailasa Temple at the Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, India has fascinated researchers for centuries. As the world’s largest monolithic structure, it is without doubt one of the most breathtaking sites on the planet.
It is often overlooked, or at least overshadowed by sites such as the Giza pyramids of Egypt, Stonehenge of England, the Mexican Pyramid of the Sun, Gobekli Tepe in Turkey and so on, but this is certainly one of humanity’s greatest architectural achievements.

Ancient Architects honest question...... You say 'your research' but.... What ACTUAL research have you ever done? Obviously the Internet is a great source of information..... And you can learn a lot from it.... But you state "the mysteries of"......... What exactly is a mystery? When did you go there and study? What level of authority do you believe you have to be able to even comment or ask that question?

Or by 100s of thousands of years , who knows . But they will never give a real explanation , it would be way too uncomfortable. Same with the great pyramid , when you see the maths hidden in the structure , its like god is hidden in the understanding.

fazerphil but..... That is just an assertion..... Based on a fallacy..... That your confirmation bias has to adhere to..... When simply.... With a reasoned mind..... (that is open and awake and all the other conspiracy bull crap)..... Can and has been and will always have an answer for....? Obviously nothing is set in stone.... - apart from this temple giggle - but there is not on ounce of evidence to suggest the actual narrative that this temple was built by man over years with hard labour is or could not be true..... Apart from your own confirmation bias that it MUST be a conspiracy..... The narrative that has been built up over the years using evidence and research and first hand knowledge of the actual site. It is not a narrative to decieve it is a narrative that best describes what the evidence has shown. Sure.... It could all be totally wrong.... But until that is proven..... Well it's just up yo conspiritards to keep comming up with assertions that sway the general population into believing in some sort of conspiracy.... How about..... You give up all of your evidence.... This guy gives up all of his first hand knowledge and then we can come up with the one true story..... Ooh wait... Yeah... He ain't been there.... You get all your info from KZread videos.....but everything is a conspiracy to decieve you because of lack of understanding....... Your lack of knowledge means the big scary illuminati lizard people control you by not telling you the truth that you never have bothered to find out yourself........ I get it now! And I just thought it was confirmation bias and fallacies..... My bad

James Collins you got all that from my little comment, all I was getting at was the inability to give any credible explanation. With the findings of artifacts that point to a way older civilisation and when you look at the high mathematics in the pyramid. To me it points to a far more advanced civilisation and not one that builds with stone hammers and copper chisel.

You literally only have one single viable answer... 'i sawed it on da yootoob fideo so it muss be troo'.... Your whole comment and only questions and the whole knowledge of the subject here is based on a KZread video, and then you think you're smart enough to comment on it, you think you know have some higher knowledge and you can question the mainstream narrative...... OK I admit you are the said chosen one, you do know more than everyone else, we're all just...... Erm.... Pawns? That'll do.... We're just pawns in the elite lizard illuminati people's games.... 🤔..... And we all want to deceive you.... We all apologise most profusely..... Ancient India was the mother of all civilizations in the world. Vedas actually say that there is not just one universe but there more than 80lakh yonis(universe). We are not alone there are many parallel universe present. Ramayana which happened somewhere in in 7000 BC talks about voice activated weapons, nuclear weapons, flying vimanas, shape changing serpents, life saving herbal drug etc. The number system, zero, medical science all came from India. Pythagoras theorem was actually copied from Sanskrit texts. Trignometry, Calculus all came from India. The concept of gravity was known to Indians at least 1000 years before Newton discovered. No wonder then India was the richest empire in the ancient world. Till about 1800 AD India was contributing to 23% of the world's GDP but by the time British left India contribution was reduced to less than 2% of d world's DGP. One more fact the world's first University was Takshshila established some 300 -500 years BC. World's second University was also in India called Nalanda established in 5th century AD. Where was rest of Europe then ? Obviously in dark ages. The world owes a lot to ancient India for it's spread of knowledge.

The carvings are mostly portraying incidents from the two Hindu epics, The Ramayana and The Mahabharata. These are still popular within Indian culture and almost every Hindu knows the basic storyline of both these epics. What we don't know is that when these actually originated. I'm using the word 'originated' because the Hindu tradition of knowledge transfer was largely verbal from generation to generation for several 1000s of years and were finally written down only 2000 years back or so. Prior to this, the stories were memorised and told to younger generations in the form of 'Shlokas'. These Shlokas were created using a checksum method so that the integrity of the information didn't degrade over time. Although we don't know when these stories were created, they haven't been lost are still very much part of the Indian culture. Edit: Update to this comment is given in the replies below.

Regarding the comments here suggesting that these epics are based on real events, I would like to state that there's not much credible evidence to support that hypothesis. Sure these stories may have been inspired from real events as all stories generally are, but it's pretty clear that a lot of fantastical elements have been added to the base story which makes the resultant epic more of a work of fiction than an actual 'documentary'. Infact I'm pretty certain now that the checksum method stated in my original comment is not applied to the entire Ramayana & Mahabharata. Sure there could be certain sections in both the epics where checksum may have applied but not to the entire epic themselves. This can be easily deduced from the fact that both these epics have hundreds of wildly divergent versions currently available in different parts of the world which clearly means that the stories have 'mutated' over the course of time. Additionally, if you look for them, you'll find an infinite number of side stories and 'spin-offs' about the various characters in both these epics which are not part of the original. It is apparent that both the Mahabharata and the Ramayana are not merely a bunch of dead and static records of some ancient historical events. These epics are still 'alive' and are constantly being modified and reinterpreted as these stories are told and retold from generation to generation. This could be the reason behind the longevity and the relevancy of these texts. Each generation understands and relates to these texts as per the realities of the time they live in. Hence, this essentially makes both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata timeless and boundless epics.

Whatever its mystery is, and I do believe that we don't really know how it was done (that's pretty obvious from the results of the research done on the temple over the years) -- regardless of that, the Kailasa Temple is can be considered as one of the wonders of the world, even if it is not done so in history books.

That it was ancient aliens is what some of us want to believe. There is actually more to these mysteries than we could presently accept given our limited understanding of our selves. Although everything is in the many different bibles of different religions, there is much distortion given the interpretations of those who wrote the stories. Aliens have actually contributed nothing to what we've accomplished. The drawings and artifacts that we have are actually not of aliens but of our own selves - of those of us who did not incorporate a physical body like most do. In the christian bible, these are referred to as the Watchers. We're always looking outside ourselves when in reality much of what we see about our history is from our own selves. The heavy stones found in some of these ancient structures, for example, were not moved by aliens but by our selves. We had the ability to move heavy objects without machinery. The power came from within. Some of us still had the ability to manifest super human feats through the power of belief.

During the reign of Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb, the temple was ordered to be demolished along with other Hindu temples nationwide. For the task he sent over 1000 laborers especially to destroy Kailasa Temple; they worked day and night for over 3 years, but could barely manage to disfigure a few statues here and there. It was all the ancient people who actually built these megalithic structures and then the knowledge and skill was lost. If we were to believe that this feat was indeed 8th century then where are all the other buildings like this if the skill was there to do this? This structure was designed and calculated by some very capable and advanced people. Modern engineers cannot figure out how it was accomplished.

All religions (paths created by a certain person) can laugh on 'Many Gods' of Hindus... but but.. In Hinduism ..the Supreme is the ' Infinite consciousness...' .. infinite as thy sky itself.. " Brahm " or "Om..." meaning infinite eternal existence which a Hindu chants while praying to any diety like Ram, Krishna or Shiv . While praying or doing Yoga.. Om is chanted. Om is called to be the most fundamental sound produced by every particle in space (yes, there is no air in space.. but ocean of quantum particles exists everywhere). Once read silently about Hinduism & get deep look in this matter. In Hinduism.. the soul is consciousness which take births in all species including human, animals, birds, plants , insects, etc. ....which on reaching higher platform.. becomes a 'angel or God , Goddess ...and when it is trapped badly by his/her own emotions & tries to go against the laws of nature to fulfill its desires... it unknowingly becomes a ghost 👻 for certain time. And soul is not created by God , but it is a part of the "ultimate consciousness" and it exists from time eternal. It is inseparable from infinite consciousness like a part of sky can't be separated from the rest sky. In fact.. when one thinks deeply then one can feel that consciousness can't be created by another consciousness. No there is no god or Goddess etc. who has created other beings. If we exists today... then we must be existing before present and after... we must be existing from time eternal to upcoming forever. When you see in eye of a innocent baby, person, cat or other being.. You may feel that the soul existing in it cannot be created by someone else & there is something (soul or consciousness ) in those eyes which should and can't die even after the death of the body. And even God is not personalized in Hinduism(the Sanatan dharma or the eternal way)... it is the ultimate consciousness itself.. infinite as sky. Hinduism is not a religion.. it has no founders, no particular holy book, it existed in ancient times all over the world (there are thousands of proofs being found in excavations) . And today's Quantum physics is forced to accept the existence of the ultimate consciousness. Hindu dharma or the eternal path is simply bowing to the 'ultimate consciousness' acting on living beings as forces of nature, which makes us feel its existence as our inner consciousness. Consciousness is existence.. all matter and energies are its passive and active expressions ! Do you believe that in the beginning of the universe.... there must not be a single particle present in space(opposite to both Big Bang & The Steady state theory). Either everywhere was empty space or everywhere was matter. I mean to say simply that whatever ' Existed' must be existing everywhere. It can't be that naturally at one place there was space and at other place was a 'small particles of matter'. Everywhere should & must naturally be the same. If automatically most of place was Empty Space... Then why why.. at some tiny place there was a ' lump of matter' ?? No matter how much mathematics or physics one knows... but if he can't himself get this point... He is a ridiculous person . Scientists have " brain + accumulated knowledge that was searched by previous scientists" .... but that doesn't means what I am telling is hard or wrong to understand. First be simple... and then try to apply intelligence from the root of consciousness..... and one will know much about the core of the natural existence. I will explain by an example... If I am in a forest.. I knows naturally what things may be around me on, above or below the ground (& how I have to act). Only to know incidents (like.. in left side of me, may be at a distance of about 80 metres.. a fox has has just killed a rabbit.... this only I can't know simply by intelligence... but for it I have to get information about it may be by hearing a sound and moving to some distance in that direction.) we need information, details of that particular incident. But to know the basic core of existence... one should have silent deep instinct consciousness. But scientists are trying to reach that point by observing incidents happening in universe. But now the Quantum Mechanics is telling them to move intellect towards Insight. For foreigners... India should be understood as insight, instinct and inception. Great scientists like Tesla(who meet Indian spiritual leader Swami Vivekanand), Einstein, Carl Sagan, Oppenheimer, Schrodinger, etc. knew this hidden silent Ancient India. The great Indian mathematician Ramanujan even told that for him a mathematical formula doesn't had any value till it signifies the working of the ultimate reality.... the ultimate consciousness.

I had the great fortune of visiting Kailash temple, Ellora when I was in my late teens. I am lucky to have visited Rome, Florence, Paris, London, Stonehenge, Bath and many other brilliantly fascinating places of the world till date. However the impression that Kailash temple created in my mind the first time I saw it is unparalleled till today. It is just WOW as if I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I am no historian and don't have architectural insights. However if you see this temple physically, it will dawn on you how impossible the task of building something like this is. Many thanks to "Ancient Architects" in bringing out this and create curiosity in inquisitive minds of people. But no picture or video will do justice to it. You have to see it physically to get that WOW feeling that I got and remember even 20+ years later. Not only Ellora, just this whole area of Ajanta and Ellora are filled with such wonders like cave sculptures and paintings and Kailash temple is epitome of all.

Sit for a minute and try and imagine the 3 dimensional nature of this and how you would go about carving in almost perfection what you see in the video, particularly with the tools they were said to have had. That is with out any 3d modelling, computers or mechanical tools. You see so called savants in this day and age drawing or painting what they see in their minds eye on a small scale and that is amazing enough but to carve it out on such a large scale to me means they were using far more of their mind than we do today. They were on a different level and maybe mankind faced a cataclysm that set us back thousands if not millions of years and we are just trying to find our way back in the last 250 - 300 years. We are still a long way behind them in many ways.

Satya Yuga - Virtue reigns supreme. Human stature was 21 cubits (33 ft 6 inches). Average human lifespan was 100,000 years. Treta Yuga - There was 3 quarter virtue and 1 quarter sin. Normal human stature was 14 cubits (22 ft 4 inches). Average human lifespan was 10,000 years. Dwapara Yuga - There was 1 half virtue and 1 half sin. Normal human stature was 7 cubits (11 ft 2 inches). Average human lifespan was 1,000 years. Kali Yuga - There is 1 quarter virtue and 3 quarter sin. Normal human stature is 3.5 cubits (5 ft 3 inches). Average human lifespan will be 100 years. In the present days we may be said to live in a Kali Yuga, which is said to have started in 3102 BCE with the end of the Mahabarata(Dwapra). Without doubt, I don’t believe that we could replicate these very elaborate structures today! These builders were the pinnacle of all civilizations, past, present and future! Thank you my Ancient Architects friends! My sense is that we are missing a huge part of the human story. I think it's possible, indeed probable, that we are a species with amnesia; that we've lost the record of our story going back thousands of years before so-called history began, and I think that if we could go back to that dark epoch, we would discover many astounding things about ourselves. - Graham Hancock

These aryans from Iran are considered as Pastoral Nomads, who brought with them some horses, chariots, proto-sanskrit language, some pretty BS stories, 33 Gods from their culture who are mentioned in Rig Veda and a shitty caste system! Check out the Rakhigarhi DNA results which proves the Aryan Migration Theory. All these architecture, science, knowledge, astronomy, trade and pretty much everything belongs to the indigenous people of India, Ancestral South Indians. Only thing these Aryans from Iran did was adopting the other culture to theirs!

This definitely 1 of the great wonders, WOW, JUST WOW!!! I mean we are just seeing pictures of it, just imagine if we visited there and really saw the vastness and beauty of this thing. Words can't describe the size and the awe of this ancient structure. Plus there are more around the world, They wont let us near a certain hole in the American grand Canyon where a huge entrance on the side of the side cliff of the canyon, the ancient Egyptians were there and at the other end there's a reservation of my native people and they won't let anyone go near this site, not even its own citizens no one. Its Just the government that doesn't want us to see what's in them and what they found. Now I live here, and what kind of freedom is that when I am not allowed to be able to go tonight in to the Canyon and go inside and see what's in there, but no worries there are secret cave/ tunnels that lead miles in and i could get there anyway ,but it is extremely difficult and dangerous without someone who has done it before and now they are to old to do the journey again.aybe someday soon and send the videos to you guys..

Fascinating. I have no doubts, that there have been civilizations on earth so far back, that we haven't even found proof of them and that we probably wouldn't really understand how civilized they were because we measure everything out from what we know now and a history that doesn't go very far back. A lot of thing are simply just thought to be of religious use because scientists today can figure out what else it could have been use for.

Many architects were not able to accept the challenge of building a temple in a week..then one architect came forward and accepted the challenge and built the temple from the top (shikhara will be seen much faster) so that queen abides her vow and end fasting
