Pervez Musharraf is complacent in the sense that he failed to get a handle on the characters in his government. Rehman Malik has a huge question mark on his role in the whole episode and he has gone scot free. It is also pertinent to examine who gained the most. I think Khalid was killed by People Aman Committee of Lyari goons led by Rehman Daket. The Aman Committee used to have strong ties with PPP as its thunder squad like other political parties used to keep. Its my personal opinion.
