This video adds to my growing body of knowledge! Thank you for these added insights! Two things I would suggest to you that might add to your understanding of these symbols since they are multivalent and have multiple meanings. Research #flatearth and also the coronation rituals of kings and queens. Or maybe your studies have already taken you there. I wonder though, because of the picture of the globe in your presentation. Prepare to have your paradigms blown away! I loved the last quote of Brigham Young you shared. Just when i think I understand a symbol, I learn something else! We could reject new truths just like the Israelites who rejected the Savior because of their traditions and blind paradigms. To those with eyes to see and ears to hear, there's so much more to come!!

Any chance you have notes that include your references for this presentation if we want to dig deeper? Thank you so much. Also, you were a second witness to me in this presentation regarding the Tree of Life and this important union of male and female. Thank you.

That's so wonderful thanks for sharing! Sorry I don't really have anything written down. I just kind of let these things form during the process of creation. All I have is some highlights in The Temple and the Cosmos book which is a great resource to check out. Also the Nag Hamaddi texts are really great for reading about the male and female union, specifically the Gospel of Phillip. And, if you haven't read the Gospel of the Beloved Companion that's a real treasure

Very interesting that these symbols can be traced back. But, what do these symbols mean for us today and why isn't the church teaching them? The reason is they don't know, and they won't admit that they don't have any keys to know. God knows and He can reveal as much to you as you are prepared to receive. The original endowment was much more inspired than the one the church has today. Understood correctly, the endowment is a dress rehearsal for what should actually be happening to you throughout your life. Every single thing about the endowment: the building, the clothing, the actors, the dialog, the authority, the teachings, the covenants, the teachings about prayer and how to converse with the Lord through the veil are to prepare and condition you for the real thing in your life.

Hi John, genuinely curious about your take on things. Do you have a place that you feel offers a more accurate ordinance?

People today don’t get symbolism, they have to be spoon fed, so the endowment as offered today is pablum, out of necessity.

I think you have a point about the endowment but also disagree with some points you make regarding keys. The Lord Jesus Christ is at the head of His restored church and for His wise purposes, has not revealed all until we collectively reach a higher level of understanding and spiritual maturity and have been refined by trial. The sealed portions of scripture are held back in His timing for them to come forth. We know there is much more revelation coming that will blow away all our present paradigms. It is wisdom to stay with his anointed leaders and His church with faith and hope in Christ and charity until he forms the Church of the Firstborn. They do hold keys, that is his pattern. To jump ahead is to miss the mark (Jesus Christ) and we've been warned there's folly in that.

@@DunlappinThe Lord is at the head of His restored church? I’m assuming you think the LDS church is “his restore church“. Correct? Actually, you and I have never been members of the restored church. That church died with Joseph and Hyrum. God never chose a replacement. Prophet, Seer or revelator for them. Brigham was one of many who felt like he was the best successor of the prophet Joseph, but the Lord never chose any of them. And why would the Lord choose an abominable man such as Brigham to lead His one true church? Brigham was a thief, a liar, and a murderer, not to mention a sexual deviant. Polygamy is literally adultery and one of the most grievous sins against God. Brigham fabricated many lies against the prophet Joseph, he literally changed history by “revising“ Joseph‘s personal journals and diaries. Brigham had William Clayton literally modify, much of church history, pinning supposed wives on to Joseph. The church today teaches that Joseph had between 30 and 50 wives, yet he only had one wife, Emma. Brigham had 56 wives, Heber C Kimball had 43 wives. It’s very easy to see who the righteous man was and who the sexual extremist perverts were. Joseph’s name has been known for both good and evil. Evil largely because of the horrific lies Brigham told about Joseph. Good fruit does not come from bad trees.

Cult is not the ideal definition as it offers a notion of secrecy of the church. The LDS church is very much public as it is open for investigators to find out what they want. The Cults are those who pursue an individulas orders
