    I have come up with many like this, such as ‘Evri customer left unhappy’ and ‘Evri parcel sent is a gamble’ cause yeah some drivers are good and will deliver, but you never really know.

    5 parcels this year have been lost by them I mean stolen. The strange thing they always disappear when they've just on their way to the courier for delivery literally just up the road from me then disappeared. Terrible company

    Exact same thing here. Sold a bunch of stuff on eBay and had 3 packages worth £300+ disappear after sorting and reaching their delivery courier. Apparently all they need to do is rip off the label and mark it as 'illegible delivery details' and it gets chucked into some kind of lost and found where people just steal from.

    They are criminals, I had a delivery driver claim they delivered to me sending me a picture of a white piece of paper as proof of deliver. More like I've been stolen from as my neighbours deny getting a parcel for myself and I'm 80 quid down! I was also in all day for 3 days so in theory they should have delivered to me not a neighbour. I'm furious.

    Dreadful company, paid next day delivery, two days later still delayed according to their website. I will not buy from any company that uses evri/hermes for their courier.

    I started delivery driving for Hermes 1 month ago and can confirm delivery drivers get paid very little 23p for a letterbox sized parcel and that doesn’t include the petrol cost I have to pay out of my own pocket. I am honest and would never even cross my mind to steal but have heard about parcels being stolen and sometimes wonder if there are any drivers at my depot that steal parcels… I guess we’ll never really know

    Wow that is a small amount, my delivery guy gets 70p per parcel but that is for the 'up to 1 kg' size not the smallest. Can't believe they don't pay your milage or atleast some of it!

    A few years ago I sent 2 Gameboys away to be modded with new LCD screens. The guy did the work and sent them back and when I asked where they were 3 weeks later he produced proof they had been signed for with Royal Mail. They never arrived and the signature was not mine and neither myself of anyone living here had received them. The delivery office looked into it and told me they couldn't ask the normal postie as he was off that week and someone else did his round, they more or less tried to say a neighbour had signed for them and decided to steal the parcel. I lost the lot (about £120 worth of consoles and labour) so don't think it's just Hermes, Royal Mail aren't great either all companies have thieves working for them.

    Sh!t. Just reading this now, out of my frustration on finding a way how to locate my purchase. So happens, it’s also a vintage gameboy console. Coincidence? Was sent by the seller on 28 June 2022, status had it as WE’VE GOT IT at the depot on 1st July, then ON ITS WAY, then on the same day, changed the status as THERE IS DELAY WITH YOUR PARCEL. How can something that theh have confirmed they have received in their depot, not end up to get delivered to the waiting customer? This is what baffles me. As if this writing, 20 July, I have not received my item still. What is frustrating is that this is not something you just buy off the shelves anymore. It’s a hard task finding the right condition of a vintage item, then when you finally find one, courier steals it, or should I say gets lost and doesn’t reach you.

    DO NOT USE THEM! Bought a expensive golf putter (for cheap) seller used hermes to post....never recieved item....tracking says its out for delivery....they've stolen it. There's a Facebook forum about hermes....some right horror stories! Also impossible to talk to a human! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ALL. Amazon are starting to use them more so I try not to buy anything from amazon anymore 😅

    Well i never knew Amazon use that shower of shit now. I swapped buying from ebay to Amazon because the Amazon delivery was so much better but this last year i have had so many problems with Amazon delivery i have just decided to stop using Amazon. Makes sense what you say because i never got problems with the vans with Amazon written on the side but started just getting random battered old vans and thats when the problems started. Seems evri can even bring down one of the biggest companies in the world.

    I had a problem with when I want to send international package ,the barcode does not work at drop shop .but I send uk evri parcel work perfect many times.i don't know why the drop off not except international label even if I printed out What they sent by email still shop is not expecting...is anybody sent before evri international package ?!how was it ?

    I paid for next day delivery, and I'm still waiting for my package two weeks later, all I've had is an email saying my delivery is delayed, no replies to my emails asking what is going on, it's like they're stealing money from people.

    Mostly I've found them OK but I've had three Evri parcels go missing overall. I figured that someone steals the contents then sells them on ebay. One parcel contained Zara sale blazers which have a high resale cost on ebay. Because they were sale items they'd sold out so I couldn't reorder. Zara refunded me. It must cost the companies a lot to cover the theft. I use royal mail to send anything but their prices have become very expensive.

    ordered a bunch of camping stuff from go outdoors and my courier is saying they had trouble reaching the address? its really frustrating me because ive spent aroumd £100 on this all and im hoping it hasnt been stolen or anything.

    Oh dear, the good thing about ordering from there though is that it's on go outdoors to sort it out if it doesn't arrive so you should be totally fine

    The tracking on my parcel showed it as being scanned in at the shop and never changed from that. When I tried to claim for the lost parcel I found out that liquids are prohibited items and it seems Evri just dispose of any parcels containing prohibited items but don't inform the sender of this?

    Attempted to use Hermes/Evri for my eBay business few months back; what a mistake that was, 35% of our orders were arriving late to our customers. Was demoted from Top Rated Seller due to this, caused such an headache and it was common for items to get lost or damaged too.

    What needs to happen is to start a massive campaign to boycott Evri and the retailers who use them. A couple of days ago the MP Carolyn Harris brought up in the Commons how shite this company is. The only way to hurt companies like Evri is in their pocket. Retailers will need every sale they can get in the coming year. So if consumers stop online purchases with them because of the stark unreliability of the Couriers they use. They will, if they have any sense, sit up and take notice. Evri's can't be arsedness when it comes to customer service must be pointed out big style to these retailers. They are the worse company I've ever dealt with. You have more chance getting through on the phone to Putin in his bunker than speaking to someone at Evri. They are going ruin Xmas for thousands of people this year. Some of them children.

    I had a space where most my Hermes parcels just completely disappear with no trace. I sent a expensive computer part , the box arrived at the destination completely empty. I dont know if the customer was trying it on or the hermes delivery removed it. so I lost the item and still had to refund the buyer. anything expensive now I send with Royal mail.

    I ordered a small replacement part, the sender used EVRI. Customer support from the well known branded oven maker is next to useless, as is the EVRI's. Decided right now to cancel the order as (being a reasonable sort of person) I'm finding no other options available.

    How do you reach their customer service, I paid next day delivery but it s now 5 days late and it hasn’t left the local depot. And every time I try and complain or try look for a resolution it’s send me to a robot or when I call just ends the call after it tells me the tracking details.

    I ordered a folding table from Amazon. A week later the parcel is delivered without knocking. Opened the parcel and it was a huge baby safety gate. So checked in my return with Amazon yesterday and as of right now been sitting here for 11 hours waiting for them to collect.

    It'll be down to zero training and the company only caring about targets. Hermes employee reviews complain about having too many parcels to shift, having to use their own phones and petrol (some workers are seemingly regarded as self employed and not working directly for the company itself) and poor pay per parcel delivery. Combine that with management who equally don't care or with a bad attitude and I suppose this is the end result. A change in brand name won't save their reputation. I remember a tv documentary regarding the worst UK delivery company quite a few years back, but it focused on yodel. On here there seems to have been a hermes undercover show from 2020 in which parcels were stolen and being sent straight to birmingham for auction. I've used hermes and dpd in the past with mixed results, with both failing to collect parcels for return

    I can actually confirm some of this. The trainign these days is barely there, and at this point they make the workers train new staff without any proper supervisor checking in on it, so issues are being compounded by people being shown how to do things wrong. The targets: Yep, they only give a shit about numbers of parcels going through the place and getting as much of the Next Day stuff out on time as possible. This means that the poor sods on outbound are sometimes dealing with up to 2000+ parcels an hour on their own on busier destinations, told to fill trailers right to the roof (no we don't have any steps for this and have to throw things to get them there) or even just throw things into vans from the warehouse doors (some of these vans can't even pull up to the doors properly if their doors can't wrap around when opened, so theres a good few feet of gap to throw across.) And the management, well thats an interesting story. Earlier this year they got rid of a load of the floor level supervisor positions because of "money saving" (After two years of record profits and exceeding their five year growth plan in that time I would point out, thanks to a little pandemic they made us work through with only token attempts to pretend they cared about our safety.) Almost all of those filling those supervisor roles now are therefore not getting any extra pay for the role, so is it any wonder they don't give a shit really. Source: Worked in one of their warehouses for seven years, and recently it's been going downhill so fast you'd think it's gone over a cliff.

    Their customer support is really random, one day you might get a real person to reply, the next you can't get hold of anyone. I was emailing them using EvriSupport@evri.com and was getting replies pretty quickly, but now I haven't heard back from them since 15th so 🤷‍♀️

    Another laptop gone missing. You can't talk to a human even when you put the right tracking number in. It tells you it doesn't recognise the tracking number, even though the robot said it back to you 100% correct. You need to get past that bit to speak to a human. So laptop missing, probably stolen by one of their workers, and you cant speak to them about it. So every day your praying it gets found, but you are in limbo land with no contact. Tracking just says enquiry raised, after many emails. But enquiry raised has been over a week with no further update or contact. Absolutely shocking firm. Shocking customer service.

    @@ChrisSPCs The sender. A lot of people go by the cheapest quotes. Sending next day delivery, is meant to be extra security, as it gets a sort of VIP service to get there next day. EVRI's thieves are everywhere though, so it didn't matter in the end.

    I was getting replies from a support email address when they changed the name to evri but today got an email saying that that address is no longer being used for customer support and was just given a link to their useless website. So now I don't think there's any way to talk to an actual person which is crazy

    I have had numerous Evri parcels disappear (on record) whilst at various intermediate regional collection points and even local shops, either in the shop or more than likely, by the Evri driver by failing to scan the items.

    Anything that can easily be pocketed I send via RM, other items via Evri unless it's heavy and large via UPS. Any problems I've had with Hermes has been resolved quickly.

    One thing you could try is ending them all then schedule relisting them as new listings to go up a few a day, the constant activity could kick off some sales. Can't say it'll definately work but it might be worth a try

Considering buying the 2 big box lights for clothing - using one ring light at the moment - not the greatest, a little dark. A huge difference for sales? How's your lighting set up? Thanks again!

    @@nayb1398 I have two of those flat lcd lights that are really good but tbh I've stopped using them most of the time just cos it was a pain to keep moving stuff around as I don't have a dedicated photo area set up. I think the photo lighting does make a difference but I'm really not sure how much

    I’ve used Hermes for years ever since RM brought in those (IMO ridiculous) sizing for parcels. Never had any real issues, I always package breakables super well etc. I had two parcels go missing in January this year and found the customer service was a nightmare, constantly going around in circles with the online chat.

    Photographs evey item how it is packed, sealed, and labeled. Send to buyer via eBay messages, this way there is labels. I've now got parcels that I shipped out since beginning of May still sitting 4 depo. I've had to refund the buyer. I have cctv of a delivery driver from hermes throwing parcel on the road. From his van. Jumping on it. Kicking it. Then throwing it at my door. Grrrrrrrrr.

    Hi, I am a Hermes long term courier and I must say that in the main round holders are good workers 6 days a week same route same repeat customers we do our best to please. However we see new couriers join every day most of whom don't last a week ! Hermes also bring in short time contractors to help clear any backlog who are here today gone tomorrow. Maybe most of the bad eggs are the ones who don't have to face the customer again ? But I do agree, Hermes do have some Major faults.

The two couriers I know have also been doing it a long time so would make sense that the ones doing all this are only there a short amount of time so know they won't have to face anyone. With your experience do you think it is likely that someone somewhere is replacing items with random shampoo bottles?

    @@SelfEmployedStudentMum Yes I think that is possible, I often get packages that have been opened and repacked? (suspicious) In these cases I always ask my customers to check the contents and then I give them the option to refuse the delivery. By the way your content has helped my daughter so much through a very difficult time! Thank you.

    Having the buyers check the item before accepting delivery is a great way of overcoming the problem! Obviously super difficult to roll out as most of the time people aren't in etc but would be great if it became the normal thing to have to do when a parcel has been opened and rebagged. And that's so nice to hear thank you you've made my night

    having trouble with them myself their track and divert system is woeful i cant pick a delivery date when im going to be in they refused to leave the parcel in my suggested safe place even when in the past they have thrown parcels over the back gate or left them on the doorstep.you cant contact them and their help centre doesnt seem to exist.it is a sorry state that i now have to ask sellers which delivery company they use,if they say evri then i dont buy the item,just a word of advice for small internet companys,please dont use evri or you may go out of buissiness bacause people wont want to buy from you and run the risk of never getting the item.

    Hi I’ve used Hermes for a long while now for my EBay parcels and haven’t had huge issues however since they have changed their name this week most of my parcels one day this week all incurred a charge for being too thick, bare in mind quite a lot we’re clothing and 1 was a pair of socks! Never had a charge on letterbox sized parcels being too thick until now

    Hermes lost one parcel of mine which was high value but all low ones use to get through, Evri seem even worse delivery person under Hermes left when it rebranded maybe coincidence but she was great new person is useless told them to take parcel to next doo by left it five doors away and left no note, currently missing a high value item as just states it is at locker so obviously person who emptied locker has stolen it as never got to depot, also took three weeks to send a parcel next day now awaiting a refund but they are refusing to say its their own fault

    While there are some crap drivers, heres another thought would you be happy delivering something for 30p, no ones in and have to return the next day for 30p. its usually the CDMs at the sites that are the problem. deliverying a parcel or dont pay your bills fully understand why couriers lose heart and passion...

    I received an open package no contents . It was an expensive item too. Anouther parcel I received at the same time was clearly sliced open ,luckily that still had the contents but wasn't worth anything anyway. I tried but couldn't contact Hermes .

    Rather stupidly I sent a laptop back to Amazon with Evri not knowing the customer feedback and awful stories until after i sent it with them , and it’s been a week stuck in delay , the fact you can’t even talk to anyone over the phone is ridiculous, I’m not holding my breath this will ever reach Amazon , fully expecting it to be lost forever tbh.

    I worked for them for a bit, but big reason why they keep losing parcels is there sorting process. They throw the parcels into crates and theres a lot of parcels that go in the wrong crate and that’s it, say goodbye to your parcel , it will never be delivered as it will stay in that crate, and no driver will deliver it.

    Grade delivery service, just started selling on ebay, 47 sales in just had my first damaged item delivered courtesy of Evri, went to put a claim in as its covered by compensation but they want photos of the packaging inside and out and the label and of course the customer has thrown that away

    Hermes were absolutely brilliant, but the problems seemed to start when they re-branded as Evri, lost parcels, "unable to deliver" messages, or parcels turning up weeks after they were ordered. I feel sorry for the suppliers, as they have to deal with their irate customers!

    You are right. I ordered an item on ebay and recived a large box with my item inside + 4 extra items including baby vitamins, wire roll, mobile charger 😊. when i contacted supplier asking what to do with them they never replied back. i think evri/hermes do this on purpose with each parcel and have plenty of time sitting down and changing parcels.

    It's agave nectar which is a very sweet plant derived syrup (with a consistency like runny honey or maple syrup) and you eat it and use it to sweeten food and drinks. You should try it! My local Evri courier is most certainly a thief and I've just reported him to the police.

    Hermes, Evri whatever they want to call themselves is a joke. They have a 100% success rate in failing to deliver to me (I repeat a 100% success rate in failure) and I live on a main road with a driveway. I get told we delivered it, but my CCTV doesn't show them arriving, so I guess they just delivered it somewhere else I mean they didn't say they delivered it to my address in their defence. I have had them say that we had to return the item to the sender and when the sender has received it items are missing and had someones medication in the box (I kid you not) with parts missing and I pre-warned this seller. Today I checked the tracking to find it was Evri if I had known I wouldn't of bothered ordering from this seller they have said they couldn't find my address. Again I live on a main road, driveway 3 buses run down my road but they couldn't find it., something tells me they didn't even bother attempt to turn up and now its on hold. I am about to order it on Amazon and get it tomorrow. Just means ill have to wait weeks for ebay to give me a refund. I don't know how this company still functions I can only assume they give sellers massive discounts. Their website states their have a friendly customer service team (LMAO) I know I know. let me know if you can get to speak to someone I wont hold my breath

    the blue bag looks like the bag repacking stations use at the depot.the actual package might be damaged and whoever repacked it packed the wrong item .

    M&M Direct is the only client using remotely similar bags, it's definitely an Evri UP damages bag. These are actually quite easy to claim on provided you paid for adequate insurance as they get either a reinduction damage scan or held in UP damage scan. Though of course pretty much every major business and small businesses SHOULD have their own courier insurance to claim back.

    @@212VIPFULL The main solution is probably nightshift stolen items or fallen out/client returned and just sent off. UP will often send out orders with items missing to contact the client themselves. Hence the re-induction damage scan, clients can easily use that to claim via their courier insurance whilst reshipping item to the customer: IE the customer gets what they originally ordered the quickest way possible when something has gone wrong like package damaged and items missing etc. To be honest at least 80%+ of damage destroys are items in client returns over items that have legitimately gone MIA

    Have a lot of deliveries from evri don't send any parcels. Had two parcels go missing last year, but so far this year has been great. Think it is who you get as your driver whether you get a good or a bad service. Colin.

    Yeah the area you're in definately makes a difference. I moved here last year and before that I never had hardly any issues with them. I've had 3 more missing parcels since this video so having to completely switch to other couriers

    I've got a brilliant idea. Why not have buildings which sell different things . Then in instead of having things delivered you go to these buildings and buy these things yourself? No delivery issues simple.

    In post is now owned and operated by Hermes or whatever they are called now. There is no perfect delivery service. There never will be. I use In post and have had no problems in the last couple of years. I consider that to be very lucky. Having a small % of parcels go missing/get damaged either accidentally or on purpose is just part of business and you can write off any loss as an expense in your accounts for tax purposes.

    My local one has ran out of space in the depot. They are not storing parcels outside in the UK. A country with gets regular rain, wind etc. my god they are awful. Any and I mean any other company see better than these guys

    Video footage is disgusting and criminal. That said I’ve had absolutely no problem with Evri, can’t praise them enough. Parcels arrive in a reasonable time. Vinted claim that even if the tracking says the parcel is ready for collection to allow another 13 days then go down the refund route. WHAT! Just because they can’t be bothered to send the buyer the barcode needed before collection is possible. I dread going to the shop to collect via Yodel, it’s embarrassing to see the parcel with my name on but can’t be handed over without the essential bar code which signs it off.

    A phone I bought was lost, but I was covered by eBay, and in 2 years they have only lost one of mine, refunded buyer, got an incident number ( don’t know how!), and since then have only managed to get their stupid, idiotic, simpleminded, lobotomised, moron of a bot!! Apart from that no prob. The pick up driver here is very good as well (thanks Ralph if you are reading this)

    I only receive items from Hermes, usually coins because RM don't insure you for shipping coins and I've never had a problem with them.

    EVRI are useless. Worse there is no means to contact them despite repeated failed delivery attempts. Having seen the EVRI map on their app I can guess why. They Google the property location and then plot to the nearest road, which is incorrectly shown on their map, and is in fact a locked gate to forestry dirt track. If they used the road that the Post Code referred to then there wouldn't be a problem. That they keep doing it is the definition of stupidity. None of the other couriers have a problem.

    "I got in touch with Evri" I would like to know how you managed that !!! I spent 8 hrs ( yes a whole working day ) trying to talk to a person unsuccessfully . Their auto bot system won't let you enter your actual tracking number as it starts with a letter when I tried saying it I got the reply "that number has not been recognised Good bye . An absolute disgrace of a company and I dont feel confident in using them again. Like you I sell on Ebay but will no longer be using Evri , the trouble is a lot of other companies sub out to Evri They really are awful in Evri respect.
