The Musical Slave - "They cant stop you"
"They can´t stop you" won the award for best Norwegian music video, at the Bergen International Film Festival, 2020.
The jury´s statement: "This year's winner stands out for its unmistakable authenticity and raw energy. The video is both a call-to-arms and a slice-of-life documentary short that’s a testament to how music and creativity can strengthen communities and move people. The video elevates the clear, yet playful message of the song by capturing a local scene that feels both universal and urgent."
The Musical Slave is a musician and filmmaker from Norway. She plays tropical punk and sings about people, cosmic forces, and the world economy. She also makes short films that combine the genres of documentary, fiction and music video.

Well Said Kristin. Keep fighting the fight. That community is lucky to have you (and I know you would say that you are lucky to have them too!). It is shameful how the Gardaí treat communities like this compared to how relaxed they are in middle class areas.
