The Muppet Room! Worlds largest Private collection of Muppets & Set Replica!

Ойын-сауық

Jim Henson’s Muppets are iconic, legendary, and some of my favorite characters of all time. The Muppet Show was an absolute revolutionary show far ahead of its time. Often imitated, never duplicated, characters like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, and the gang were larger than life: they made outsider art appear in our living rooms. Puppetry reached new heights of comedy on a weekly basis thanks to the muppet show, and although often forgotten today, there’s a slew of weirdos who remember when these wacky puppets were kings of pop culture.
Welcome to the Muppet room! Andy Walmsley, set designer of American idol, who wants to be a millionaire, and so many other hit shows has designed a replica of the muppet show set inside his house to house the worlds largest collection of muppet replicas; everyone from Statler and Waldorf , Rolf the dog, Bunsen and Beaker, Camilla the hen, crazy Harry and the electric mayhem to a full size sweetums costume! Forget telling me the way to Sesame Street, tell me how to get to the Muppet room!
Get an unbelievable up close and personal tour of the muppet room in Las Vegas on its FINAL day in existence, and meet all your old favorite characters, and hear the absolutely crazy and inspiring story behind Andy’s muppet room!
Help keep the show alive!

I grew up watching a VHS of the Muppet Show, recorded off TV by my grandmother in New Zealand! Quite the dedicated gift from her - she'd record one week onto the tape for my family, next week onto another tape for my cousins. So I know half the episodes inside out - Gladys Knight, Buddy Rich, Linda Ronstadt, Elton John - who was practically a Muppet himself at that point! I have another cousin who's non-verbal Autistic, and Muppets were her absolute favourite thing. There's just something that got through to her! Come on Disney, so all about IPs and nostalgia, give us more Muppets in the parks?

The best part about KZread is finding kindred spirits in what I love, and god do I love the Muppets! The Muppet Room was so fantastic a place by itself, but seeing and hearing all of the stories behind each of the different autographs and pictures just made me so happy that there are other Muppet fans out there. Some, like Andy, have even lived the dream and I think that's just special. ❤️

I am now officially jealous of you. It was iffy with all the Disney stuff, but MUPPPPPPPPETS! Justin this was the coolest yet and you have had some awesome interviews of late. Seeing you and Tyler interacting with the puppets was fantastic and your voices made it perfect. Andy was amazing and has to be the epitome of "right place, right time". I had never even thought that a set designer wouldn't also be the set builder. It just makes you more aware of how many people it must take to put a show like the Muppets on. Another fantastically cool video Well done Justin, Tyler and the entire production team.

I was going to say the same thing. Disney's really mismanaged the Muppets and it really breaks my heart everytime I realize how aside from one huge hit film (which spoke more to existing fans, I think) and its lackluster sequel, there's at least one generation that has grown up not knowing Kermit and Piggy. Sure, the _Fraggle Rock_ reboot is excellent, but to have _Sesame Street_ now on a PAID subscription service is appalling. A sign of the Apocalypse.

Thank you for many many years of entertainment and learning. I was a mere child, barely in Grade School when I first heard the Iconic Intro and saw for the First Time a Show that would change my Childhood & Adulthood. I've Enjoyed All Things that Jim Henson and his Creature Shop created. But, I have to admit, My All Time Favourite is Emmet Otters Jugband Christmas. The Behind the Scenes are the Best. They 'Rolled' that Drum out the Shoppe door a 100+ times to get it to settle just right. Emmet and his, Ma are there giving commentary. Quite a Fun Bit. Also, Adam Savage has a KZread video with Brian Henson at Puppet Up! in which he tries his hand at Puppetering. Adam has previously toured the Muppet Museum and show us what it's like to be Junior Gorg of Fraggle Rock. Sorry that was such a Ramble. I do appreciate these videos and the time you put into All your Videos. ✨️👍

Unreal. Just like him, I could also name each of the Muppeteers (sorry, I refer to them as such, too) and studied the "Of Muppets and Men" book as _my_ Bible, too. Not only do I recall _The Ghost of Faffner Hall,_ it was actually one of my favorites at the time and it's sad that it's now such an obscure reference. I vividly recall the day Jim died when I was 11 (my older sister heard the news first and called to warn my mother in advance). There's so much I could comment on with absolutely everything throughout this video, but I'll abstain to keep this comment reasonable. Absolutely everyone predicted that I would work with the Muppets someday - and though I wish I could've _also_ followed that path in life, in 1993 I discovered _another_ influential (if no more practical) artist who led me to take another fork in the road: RuPaul. Yes, I still ended up in feathers, glitter, and foam rubber. I've now been a drag queen for twenty-nine years and I've definitely had a memorable life in that regard as well. Thanks for sharing this - it's absolutely incredible and I envy all he's accomplished and acquired. KZread is a blessing in that sense: Living vicariously through others that had the same interests at one time in my life definitely bring those memories flooding back, and that's worth everything in the world.
