Speaking as a former 2 way HS tackle, I can honestly say that it was definitely the easiest offense for a offensive lineman to to block for and the hardest offense for a down lineman to defend against. Hopefully some desperate big time div. 1 program will pick it up have success with it and it will multiply once again as it did in the 70's. It is a thing of beauty when run properly and is surely missed by anyone old enough to have seen it in its prime.

Hi Coach! I have been admiring your version of the Wishbone Offense for some time now and was wondering if you would be willing to share your playbook with me? I coach a 5th grade youth team in St. Louis and ran the Wishbone with good success last year, however our playbook was much more simplified with only a power series and a full back dive / counter series. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you would be willing to lend! Thank you! Craig

Power isolation, fullback dive, belly play, toss sweep, counter option, lead option and triple option. All you need. If you can't run the veer option and read the tackle and end, you need to be another offense.

Would you be willing to share your wishbone playbook with me, I'm a 1st year coach and am building a team from scratch?

Hi Coach! I too have run the Wishbone Offense for the past 3 years with my Youth football team. We ran a power, counter series, and fullback dives as well. Would you be willing to share your play book? I am dropping down to pick up a younger team this year (8-9 or 10-11yr olds). I would love to look at your system plays, blocking rules... to implement with my kids. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks, Rod
