Thanks Jimmy. I can honestly say that your chokes as far as waterfowl is concerned are the best patterning I’ve used for all of my shotguns. I’ve been guiding for 20+yrs and it was amazing to smack cripples on water and in fields well beyond 50yds. I run the UFO’s in my 20ga Benelli M2 and Winchester SX3 and the patterns are unbelievable with a wide variety of shells. I run the PASSING in my SBE2 and again it is unbelievable. People are always asking “what the hell are you shooting”?! I just laugh and tell them Muller Chokes! 💪🏻

Just ordered a choke this morning before I saw this. Glad I went with the Passing and not the UFO.

Thanks for the video, I was contemplating buying the ufo. I use the passing choke exclusively in my sx3 all waterfowl season shooting boss. I have the decoy choke as well, but I dont ever switch to it...

I have been shooting the Muller UFO for several years now, and have found no other choke tube to even come close! The places i have to hunt, only allow for pass shooting opportunities, which means all shots are right at the 60 yard mark! I shoot nothing but high velocity steel shot loads, and with my Muller UFO choke tube, I get very uniform patterns at both 50 & 60 yards, as well as 100% patterns at each distance respectively. High velocity steel loads and Muller UFO chokes equals a LOT of ducks and geese in the freezer...

I just bought mine, anxious to try it out this duck season. Do you lead alot with the shells ur using at 40-60 yards?

Steel loads are 1,650 fps... Lead distance depends on the distance to the bird, as well as the speed of the bird, so it is always changing. I have lead a cruising mallard 10 feet and it folded just like it was supposed to. Others that looked like they had a jet pack up their fanny required a 30 foot lead, or further! Like I said, it all really depends on the distance and speed of the bird. The furthest and fastest birds get the greatest leads, and naturally the closest and slower birds require a shorter lead. Lead distance is constantly changing...

@@DavidWhite-bk5cn are you finding it hard to kill them close up shots like 25 yards and in since the choke is so tight?

@@Unknown1-111 if I were shooting birds at 25 yards, I would be shooting a different gun and choke. I shoot the Muller UFO Waterfowl tube because the only places I have to waterfowl hunt consists of nothing but pass shooting opportunities. I have to take shots @ 50-60 yards, or else I don't hunt. I would love to have decoys and places to hunt to where I never had to shoot a bird past 30 yards, but that's just not the case! So at least for me, considering limited resources and such, it's either pass shooting or stay at home and don't hunt. I manage to kill 75-100 ducks a season, and about half that many greater Canada geese, so I really have no complaints. My guns and loads are strictly for long range waterfowl hunting, and that's what I will be doing till I can no longer hunt. What are your hunting conditions like?

@@DavidWhite-bk5cn i gotcha my conditions vary but are almost the same . I take alot of passing shots anywhere from 30-55/60ish yards but also have a few holes where their coming straight in ur face and its pretty tight. I love my far range shots but i wanted a choke to be able to do it all with . I just got it in the mail today so ima give it a go this season and see how i do, i’m not too concerned with my far range shooting just wanted to see how tight it’ll be when i got a bird hailing ass straight to me. Seems like anything close range ima have to put the bead right up on the bird.

I ran the passing this last season and also have the ufo. Both works for me. If you can shoot on target or have your lead down they turn the lights off like a switch. No cripples. I even use the passing for dove hunting. I don’t own a decoy. I also take shots from inside the decoys and outside which I’ve hammers ducks 55yards out with the passing. I run boss ammo 3in and I’m shooting sbe2 and 3 all with his chokes! Fucking love them. And I’ve bought other chokes from Jebs, kickers, Carlson, pattern master, but my next one in the line up is my Jebs high voltage .685

How was the UFO for waterfowl? Did you have to lead as much at yards such as 40-60?

@@Unknown1-111 kinda hard to answer that. Depends on how hard they are flying. But for further birds the lead will be greater. If I’m using the ufo I run 3in 3’s feel they patteren better with distance my opinion

@@Unknown1-111 I haven’t had a hard with close up birds. Only with how much damage it does to them. this pass season I set decoys to 15 yards give or take. . It will be less forgiving tho like you said. With the passing sure you will have better odds against the user era part on close birds. But I own them both cause if I’m going to be in trees where birds are dropping on top of us I would use the passing. This is all just my personal opinion and how I’ve done it.
