    I'm a fan of function over fashion and the Mule looks to fit the bill! If you are packing in light to pack out heavy in the Elk woods, making the bow feel lighter can be the difference. Thank you MFJJ for bringing products to light... even if they look goofy, as long as they work, I am in!

    Would be cool to have just the V part that you could attach to the end of your bow. Like figure out a standard screw in dimension and then have slots to index the V part or make it like gears.

    I've been thinking of making something to screw to the end of my stabilizer for a couple years now to do that same thing. I always carry my bow with the stabilizer against my forearm to take the weight of my hand. May just pick up the Mule to try this year.

  • @toddlentner1708
    @toddlentner1708 Жыл бұрын

    Best, most functional stabilizer I own. 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”….. based mine off forearm length and went with an 8”. Takes the weight off the bow while carrying and you can add weights if needed.

    Cool review. No way I’m putting this on my bow but new stuff is always nice. The most overlooked stabilizer for hunting purposes in my opinion is the Bee Stinger Counterslide. I may have been the last holdout to putting a back bar on my hunting bow. Just thought it was dumb. Finally tried it. It of course had some benefit but wasn’t in love with it. Put a 15” non dovetail counter slide on. Added a couple of weights, played with the positioning and now it’s every bit as good as the front and back bar setup with a little over a pound in weight reduction. If Bees Stinger would make a 20” it would be perfect. I even ditched the 15” front bar 6” back bar setup on my 3D bow for it.

    I like the idea of the product. I just don't like having too long of a stabilizer on my hunting bow because I tend to bang it on things getting into my hunt location, bang it on the ranger, etc.. If I liked longer stabilizers, That might be something nice to try out. Nice strings on that bow, btw.

    I have been looking at these for my elk hunting rig. Only thing I wondered about is those wings and how much wind they'd take to start pushing you around. Wondered if a guy would have some slits or holes to allow the wind to push thru and how that would perfom.
