I’m Syrian and despite the fact that I live in London my family and I always have to travel an hour to get there as you would rarely find any Middle Eastern restaurants. I love how authentic dooby is. I don’t really know if that’s the right word, but she doesn’t try to please everyone possible and just enjoys life and good food. She has her own opinions and is not afraid to share them (purrrrr), unlike many content creators. I just feel like she has such an incredible connection with her viewers that way. I've been quite lost in college life/career plans recently but your videos have been weirdly keeping me sane all through these things. I'm thai and I lived in London for 2 years, it was a struggle to find good Asian food. I mean.. it's the only city that I've been to that doesn't serve banchan in Korean restaurants! Yes, I noticed that also. London is nowhere near as safe as Seoul. I have lived in both countries for over a year each and in Seoul you can walk past a wallet or credit card on the ground the morning and in the afternoon it's STILL there except some helpful person has put a white piece of paper underneath it to highlight it's position. In London... Turn your head, sneeze and it's gone...

One of my favourite things about London is the sheer variety of restaurants around the city, If you don't like one thing there's always a different restaurant that you can visit.

I really like the British Museum. But I laughed when you mentioned "donation based" because I was thinking "yes, the exhibits were "donated" by the former colonies! Until I realised that you meant that the entrance fee is free and people can donate whatever amount they want XD

The clock room in the British museum is my favourite! Whenever I go, I always try and time it so that I’m in there when they all chime on the hour, it’s so special 😭

Not me having an epiphany…..and crying 😭 “Time is relative… We all operate on our own time….” We say that all the time: Take your time. I prob have never in my life taken “my” time. Always feeling the need to move faster or think less or be an early riser. Def feels like childhood & when you are an adult who has a successful business are the main two phases in life where it’s acceptable for you to choose how fast or slow you go. But even then that’s not the case for everyone. My new mission: Give myself permission to find my own pace, my own time, my own flow. ⭐️

The takeaway from this video to me was how shockingly inexpensive (that amount of) food is in London. I did not expect that.
