I second this. My 3" tiny trainer with overpowered motors has a super locked in and smooth feel to it that I feel like Vanover could just RIP with.

Now Steel needs to critique a Vanover Kwad on his channel.

Flying with an earbud is awesome. It makes me more confident knowing that the motors are doing what i think they are doing.

Great format of video, Keep it up. Everyone needs a Mr. Steele Build in their quad collection.

Great video. Glad to see the respect. You flew the quad very aggressively and with the high rates. I feel like that was a tribute and I would love to see him fly your quad with a flow style. Top notch flying. Great respect and comments too. You guys are both amazingly talented.

Back in the day one of my favorite pilots was Finalglideaus with his smooth dives and rotations. Sometimes I appreciate a dive with a slow rotation and good timing over a quick flip, spin, twerk. Fun flying, and fun watching can be two different things. Great review!

All about being yourself. The flippy floppy guys are copycats who lack creativity and can't connect with their quad. They simply cannot "feel it"

Absolutely I always use audio if quad has it. Think it puts myself more in sync with timing and can hear tune and if problems. Nice video alex I like them close to ground wall rides 👌😁

I liked you sharing your experience with other setups! I think that’s where it’s at every one sharing their setups and helping everyone figure out what’s best for them! I have 3 different setups that I fly depending on the mood I’m in Stress relief = Apex on Fettec kiss Relaxed fun = Iflight sl5hd on BF 4.3 Experimental = Apex on Fettec Alpha

Excellent honest answer, I really wanted to buy one but I have been waiting for a dji version, I’ve since tuned by nackered old dc5 to the point it’s exactly machines my ability tho I can’t do a hard dive with out jellow on the pull out unless it ease the throttle. Tried all sort of props and new motors but it’s just a heavy setup so I’ll need to change at some point.

I’ve never tried Steele motors but I use your Hypertrain 2207-2021kv motors with an awesome tune. GRL Ti Pro2 frame KakuteH7 Holybro tekko32 Metal F4 65a 4-1, Caddx vista. Absolutely love that set up. These motors I gotta give it to you they are good. And your color choice 👍🏼

That bit where you split S between those two aerial walkways, roll out power loop and dive between them was sick!

One of these days I plan to build one but for now I'll just stick to throwing PB&J's on my QAV-S. Gives me the same sorta locked in clawing through the air feel & 100% worth shaving just a bit off the top end speed for that control.

I am a huge fan of flipping on launch... Arm, give it a nice blip to get good an clear of the ground, and a smooth flip to set the tone. quads act really weird when you liftoff slowly it makes me nervous.

Mimicry is the greatest form of humiliation one can do ! I think Cpt. V. is doing this intentionally here. Not only flying exactly like Mr. S. (the Rubriks, the wall-bump, the general flippy-di-flop), but flying better/faster than Mr. S. and the commenting "Yeah, but I don't like it" is way cool. On top of that Cpt. V. is a competitive racer, capable of great, flowy freestyle, produces decent cinematic footage, he must be considered the most versatile pilot as of today. As a challenge to Cpt. V.: produce a "King-of-Bando" video in the style of FennixFPV/Erodyo/SlattFPV - than the style-mimicry would be perfect ;-)

Sick flying as always, would be good to see some footage of the actual drone your describing. Either in your hand or close ups.

Well here's an idea, analog audio transmitter, like literally an old school radio transmitter but at 5.8 for the short antennas. This should be extremely lightweight too

But what did you think about the FPV feed in the goggles? His feed is always the clearest analogue I have ever seen. I wouldn’t need digital if I could analogue as clear as his.

I too enjoy flying a different setup. Thats why I have too many...

I liked your comments on the quad but would you buy one at that price or build your own?

This freestyle was Vanover doing his best Steele impression.

The only thing I miss from analogue is an good earbud on a VTX with clean audio.

Audio for DJIFPV may be possible at some point now the goggles have been cracked. 😄

I like them both, I prefer your frame more, carbon is not as great as the apex obviously but it does last me longer(I increased 1mm the bottom plate and made room for the missing stand-off in the rear-middle for the caddx vista). Only downside I’d say about the CL1 is the components are way to exposed, other then that it’s my go to. Kiss…..kiss ultra? That would be next when I will run out of FL1 H7 😅 Btw keep your rates 😆👍 cos, yea it was nice, cool flight but it’s not you. That’s not that juicy Vanover flight 😎

That was as close to flying as Mr Steele as you can get. Except you could’ve made more revolution’s on your orbits and you probably couldn’t tell. Hmmmm, thinking about it. Already have an Apex frame just gotta get everything else.

If you thought a Mr Steele set up was great, you should try the Jacuzzi by Jacuzzi Jay!

The movements were a bit much to follow in such a wide fov, would take a bit to get used to it for me.

I like VANOVER flowy style I’m not too much of flipply floppy fan. Vanover does this thing where slows down the movements you really have to commit when he does the really slow corkscrews God I shit bricks trying to fly like him. Anyone can flip flop around In my opinion

The Ethix V4 motors can pull 1000watts for sure not underpowered compared your Vannover V2 motors. Also many props to choose from to establish proper power etc. I have both a apex fettec setup and your cl1 vnny fettec setup . Now i only use logics based thought .
