In 1986, the movie "Rad" was released. Robert Peterson promoted the movie by appearing on The Merv Griffin Show. Now this is "Old School".
Жүктеу.....

Interesting how even when Robert was not even featured in the film, he was promoting it on behalf of Skyway, seems like a full jointed effort by the industry was at hand. Cool to see Bart there as well.

Have you not watched any of the X-Games for like the last 20 years. They don't do the flatland stuff really anymore on there, but its still a huge culture. Just a bit more underground that what it was back in the day. Look up Eddie Fiola, RL Osborne, Martin Aparijo and Bob Haro on you tube. They are the OG's of the sport and they still going strong and new kids are starting everyday!!

He was a freestyler for skyway, but the name was skyway racing not sure why. A lot even used racing plates just for the cool factor all that stuff ended by 87 (plates on freestyle bikes etc) I am surprised they did not make him wear s helmet tho.
