Honestly, the shivers I had down my spin when this kicked in on the final boss fight. Then when it gets to the "second" stage and gets more impactful. My god this one of the best thought-out boss fights I have played in a LONG time.

I never expected this to be the final boss music but MAN WAS IT TERRIFYING

Who has woken the boss and why is it terrifying

This has got to be my absolute favorite rendition of this song, especially with the context of the game. The horrifying ambiance as you enter the hall, seeing the titan like Mountain King and him swallowing Lillimore whole, him prepping to fight you while sitting in the darkness he created, and then out of nowhere, you get the main melody with those intense drums, brass, and an absolutely epic choir!

Listen, I played through this game in one night because of insomnia and when the choir at 2:14 kicked in I legit died because my sleep deprived brain put 2 and 2 together and I shouted out loud "THE MOUNTAIN KING!" and then got forked. 😂

When I was walking down the hall and up to the sealed door right before the king's chambers I was like "this should have in the hall of mountain king playing." imagine my surprise when I have to fight this dude WITH A REMIXED VERSION IN THE BACKGROUND. 10/10 game it was absolutely fire

Martin Wave and Dan Wakefield absolutely NAILED this song! Edvard Grieg’s masterpiece is badass enough in its original state but these guys unleashed the beast and made this song into a hyper-steroidic rollercoaster that is beyond badass and is chanted by the gods and above all it sounds so Hans Ziimmer-ish and I love it! Every act has its own behavior and pump into it the 1st act is terrifying, ominous, and evil, 2nd act is slow, well paced and action packed, 3rd act is godly, explosive, and filled with unstoppable power! I’ve been searching epic remakes of classical orchestra for years and this is King of them all so far TY for making this piece of orchestral art into the best and most badass remix of them all!

I wish I could say that I didn’t expect an epic, operatic version of “In the hall of the Mountain King” to go so hard, but I think we all new it would. It’s a great musical score to begin with, it was simple begging to be brought to new heights. Wonderful music, wonderful game
