Hey man I'm big fan of your videos. I just built my first rifle and I took a bit of inspiration from your last custom AR build. Those jumbo rail scales are fire! Can't wait to see how the FDE ones look in the Dragon Scales pattern. I really do think there is room for a solid competitor to Railscales in the space, as I could only find a couple other companies even making stuff in that realm. Some more patterns, different styles, and bit less expensive could really work. My build went pretty smoothly except I had a hell of a time getting my 14.5" Criterion barrel to seat in the Radian lower. I had to freeze the barrel overnight and then heatgun the lower while tapping in the barrel with a piece of wood and a mallet. Thank God for Google. When she slid home it was such a triumph! Rest of the build was no issues, just me going really slowly and carefully like a turtle to make sure I didn't fuck anything up. Other than a mushroomed out roll pin on my first attempt at the gas block the rest went pretty good. She's at the gunsmith getting a pin weld done and then I'll be able to take her out for the first time next week. It's amazing what you can learn on the internet!

I have a duty built glock 45. On a duty build, the owner is limited to 100% reliability proven parts (THE reason a lot of duty glocks are left untouched and fully oem stock), with this knowledge, toads suppression means the necessity of a threaded barrel. For gen 5 glock used their newest “match grade” barrels, and trying to get my hands on a Glock brand threaded gen 5 barrel is like finding a Diamond at a landfill….I went with SilencerCo! Their threaded drop in barrel is as accurate as a person can purchase….and good enough for a duty build.

Awesome video! Hollywood filmography. To add to the comment section, my dream build is a DD upper/lower combo with a chf, cl, 1:7 twisted 12.5” barrel with 12” handguard….adjustable .750 block, xeno flash hider, polonium k suppressed, sionics np3 bcg headspaced and charged with a radian raptor sd with np3 coatings and black wings. Magpul offset buis and primary arms acss cqb md-25 with SLx 3x Pegasus multiplier, cloud defense lighting, Blackout defense single stage drop in, McLean sling, and either an str stock or mft minimalist stock. Some sort of winter trigger guard, and a redi-catch, redi-release, Reid-mag setup as well. Also VSeven 3 gun 45/90 ambi safety and vseven lightweight 11 position buffer tube. Now that I’ve got the parts list, I’d have to shoot tons of ammo through it to learn the best gas length and buffer setup to make it run flawless on m855A1 ammo. I like my pmags WITH a window and ranger loops on the bum bum. Maybe an afg foregrip and or barrier stop on the front. With no money matter a MAWL would be nice for nods as well. Back it all up with a converted mossy shockwave 590S into an sbs and a g45 built for performance with extended mags and an Osprey. Put a salvo on that mossy and if you can pack all that on 1 guy….might as well add an mp5/mp7 and you got a one man horror show.

The dead air xeno platform is my favorite suppressor mounting solution. Not only do they offer a flash hider muzzle device that looks like a standard a2 flash hider…the threading opposes the mounting threads which tightens the mounting solution when attaching to muzzle device. When I mounting no worries it will detach from the mounting solution. Works 100%….100% of the time. And looks/functions best when not mounted. Yes, I too love the looks of a 3 or 4 prong…but, stories of tuning fork ringing and flash and sound signature make me swerve away from them. I’ve seen a video from vedder that proves an A2 flash hider works almost as well as most suppressors at hiding flash…..makes me run to an A2 muzzle device over any breaks or prongs. Add to that xeno suppression mounting solution, and a good can, and problem solved. Look into the otter creek polonium series and their pew ratings and then the price point vs say a surefire can, and you’d be surprised. Full auto capabilities and barrel length capabilities and the polonium series stands very tall.
