The fact that people teared up during this elimination, shows what an impact he had on everyone
For anyone wondering what he's doing right now, here's a snippet from an article: "Sterling Wright’s culinary career was boosted by an appearance on 'Hell’s Kitchen,' but his chef's uniform now bears the white cross of Saint Thomas Health. The Nashville native and 2014 contestant on the competitive cooking reality show is in his first year working in the cafeteria at Saint Thomas Midtown, the fifth-largest hospital in Nashville. Although the show gave Wright the opportunity to cook at high-end restaurants, he opted to take his talents to the hospital where his adoptive “mom” received a life-saving heart transplant in May 2018."

Spring Sterling: “UNITED STATES OF KINDNESS!!!!”
This is what many of the eliminated chefs lack, optimism. They just get pissed and say they are better than everyone else. While Sterling knows what he is capable of and looking to push himself, even in defeat he understands why he was taken out but looks on the bright side and is grateful for the oppurtunity and want grow even further without bashing on Ramsay or the competitors. I hope to have Sterling's attitude once I become a chef.
Sterling is one of the VERY few angels in Hell's Kitchen.
I cried when he left even though i was expecting the elimination this episode... he was always happy and u can see that everyone loved him and appreciated him personality and what he brought to the table and kitchen. You know the best contestants always leave with their jackets because chef just cant take it back and they deserve it
I’m crying. This was the nicest elimination I’ve ever seen. He had everyone’s respect even Ramsay’s. And that is something special.
“Can I hug everyone before I go?” This guys attitude is infectious
This is the kind of man we all need in our lives. He may not have made it to the black jackets, but he certainly made it to our hearts. Sterling deserves all the respect in the world for pursuing what he is now doing, and Gordon saw that. Good on you, Sterling. You got all of our hearts, and regardless of where you go, we'll all be rooting for you 100%.
Sterling literally has a big heart....man we need more people like him
Gordon isn't just the host, he is the reason why so many people are chefs today. He is the inspiration behind what drives them in their careers, to improve as chefs and as people.

We need more people like Sterling in this world. He wasn’t mad that he didn’t win, was he disappointed probably but he loved cooking, and that to me shows truly what a great man he is.
Believe it or not after his time on Hell’s Kitchen I was lucky enough to become friends with Sterling. He’s just as wholesome off camera.

Sterling is so wholesome, he got to keep his jacket despite it not being black. He really moved Gordon during his stay.
I think Sterling is also the only contestant that we see pack up and leave. Its like a metaphor for him leaving with his dignity and then some
Sterling was definitely a pure soul, but let's also take a moment to appreciate his adoptive mother who raised him that way 👏👏👏
I just automatically smiled as soon as he hugged him, like wtf how did that happen?

Being eliminated far enough in Hell's Kitchen is one thing but being eliminated while having Gordon Ramsay's heart (as per Sterling) is much better.
This was REALLY wholesome, wow. He even went and hugged everyone goodbye. More people need to be like Sterling and optimistic like that
Because of you being relentless and putting a smile on everyone’s faces you get to keep your jacket *Everyone liked that*
"You'll always be 100 to me." Shit man, that line hit different 🥺
Gordon: You're out. Also Gordon: SIKE!
Imagine how sterling feels reading this comment sections. We love u bro bro, and we hope you get another chance to show ramsay the great cook we all know u can be.
Sterling is just an all around great human. Seeing him on this show genuinely warmed my soul. He may have not been the best chef but he kicked ass in the final dinner service.
There’s no feeling like watching Gordon Ramsay being nice
He was a really great guy. He has character, charisma and a good heart. God bless this brother.
I was honestly about to cry my eyes out. Sterling was so awesome! Personally, I wished he was brought back in for Season 18. But, I am glad Sterling is doing so well.

Spordan Jieth Agreed.
He is the cocky chef we all love. He’s confident with his cooking cuz he loves cooking. Props to him, he’s better than most contestants here.
And on top of all this, he is now working as a chef in a hospital that saved his mother's life
After binge watching multiple seasons, this was the ONLY elimination to make me cry 😢. Even when people were mad at him, hating on him, he never lost his cool and remained positive. I hope he’s doing well today

Sterling is still an amazing guy. As of June of the year, the Nashville Business Journal says that Sterling works in the cafeteria of Saint Thomas Midtown, a large hospital in Nashville.
I don't know why this was recommended to me but I don't even care. What a beautiful soul, I haven't watched this show in a minute but I don't need to to know this man is going to go far in every aspect in his life with that attitude.
Besides his career afterwards, (which is somehow even more wholesome than this) let's also acknowledge that he was a *BEAST* when he came back for the final service. Worked his ass off for his team.
love that sterling gave them three different types of hugs
2:37 " I got chef Ramsay's heart" 🤗
he is such a nice sweet man look at him go, one of the few who is truly passionate about cooking and having fun with it, i do hope he comes back some other time because, he is so enjoyable to watch trot around and lift a positive atmosphere🖐🏻
You know when you made your other contestants cry when you get eliminated, the same people who will be on each other's throats and will throw anyone on the bus in order to win to kick out the deadweights, this man remained the beacon of the light for everyone in the kitchen. What a beautiful man.
Gordon was actually truly happy to give someone a hug here. Very few people have touched that man like sterling did.
Does he have a restaurant or diner? I'd love to try his cooking. A chef that's as passionate about people as with his food, I bet his cooking brings smiles to people's faces.
