Yeah, I pulled the trigger on it and that one chorus is great, no joke. I ended up liking their opto-trem that I wanted it for to play a couple of songs. Phaser if nice too. That chorus really makes me want another one to stack and usually don't like using chorus at all. Roto 60 sounds like a nice substitute for a few things. I forget which effects I noticed it on, but you can tune one or two of the effects on the right-hand side to another octave. Pretty different and cheap for options. Great review and use it lofi!

I think that for people who need modulation, but don't really need to have a specific, dedicated pedal for that purpose, this is a great option. Despite the effects being digital, there are a lot of cool sounds in this thing.

I have, realy like it, the one algoritm i dont like is rotary, some signal of guitar disapear, and the lofi not having a sample control, but the other are really cool

Ahh finally a video of someone running it with distortion 😅 some lovely sounds out there in other videos but the thing that drew me to this in the first place was looking for a phaser for rock & metal

Glad you liked it! At this price point, this pedal is a bit of a no-brainer. Especially if you only need it a few times during a gig.

I love this pedal. It simulates various famous pedals, like the MXR Phaser 100. To play at home is fantastic!

They do. I think they, along with the chorus, are some of the better effects in this unit.

I got mine for a 4 pedal mini board build .You can create a very versatile board for very little $ & Space .Fuzz, Over Drive ,5th dimension ,Delay .I did another one with a Mooer mod factory . Also did a Gilmour one with a Mooer triangle buff ,Komp, Over Drive, and Valeton MDR .

@@dmitriopekine5402 I've never a/b mine I really like the Sonicake ,sounds good ,has tap tempo! Mine has the light up knobs .But the Mooer is slightly better in my opinion (you'll need some readers to see the effects names if you're over 40 years old though lol ) but seriously it's getting really hard to beat Mooer in the versatile affordable pedal category .They pretty much win hands down for their 7 series alone .

Nice pedal.. can this be used with bass guitar also?

Yes you can! It might not sound as good since it is designed for guitars.

Vahlbruch FTW! Still saving for my Big Kaluna. Could take a while as I can only purchase via eBay or direct - $560-600AUD for a new Kaluna , but I reckon it'll be worth it. Now I am jonesing for that Octavia. I don't *need* it, but still - nobody actually *needs* an Octavia, but that's kinda the point :D

That Kaluna is exceptionally great. I freaking love mine. Things are far too expensive in Australia. Jeez. Is it the import tax that makes gear so expensive?

Mike Ibrahim of MI Audio Effefcts is a local legend (he lives 5min away from me) - he created the Crunch Box, Super Crunch Box, Crossover Drive, Boost 'n Buff to name a few. The Crunch Box is a modern classic, inspiring many other builders and *ahem* giving JHS an "idea" for their Angry Charlie ;) Another notable Aussie builder is Bondi FX. Their Sick As and Breakers pedals are great. Earth Transmissions "The Bear" is a fantastic pedal. Created by my old amp tech!
