i got laid off in aug 2021 - wife and i were tired of layoffs, so we decided to take what was then our side hustle, into a small business. starting a small business isn't for the faint of heart, but i've done what you said @4:56 and it's made me proud of where we've come since that fateful day in aug 2021. we still have a long way to go, but we're putting one foot in front of the other every single day: she with photos, and me with videos. and yeah, we're a sony family. :)

We are pretty similar. Just today I received my cob light etc. Tried to get a good setup and simulated a video intro for a project that i want to push out on social media. Tried color grading in davinci which is new space for me. Now im laying down and your video pops up. A creative bro talking about the daily grind that seems to have same goals, grinding situation and even the for fun part with music. Your video was a nice sign from the states to germany. Keep on grinding fella.

This is the encouragement and community we all need man! Thank you so much for the kind words and the transparency. The grind is definitely a grind, but it’s worth it when we see it through right? Best of luck with everything you’ve got going brother, I expect to see you killing it in Davinci in no time! Let me know if you have any questions, I would love to assist where I can✊🏽💯

Good luck! I too am on the grind. This time around I’m committing to what I started. If you love what you do then it’s not work. Making videos with my daughter while being able to express my creativity is a blessing. Subbed

You and me both! Let’s hold each other accountable! I want to stay steady as well! It’s all about locking into a groove and sticking to what we set for ourselves! And hey, sometimes that looks differently right? Maybe your consistency is once a week. Maybe it’s twice a month. Maybe it’s once a month! It’s all about setting realistic, attainable goals, and sticking to it.✊🏽Let’s do it!

Hehe, the famouns draught of ideas. Ive just got all the gear together, and had to spend soooooo much time just learning Davinci and now when im starting to get a hang of it i got no idea what to make videos about. And everyone on youtube is explaining how i have to have a niche. But im not gonna fall in that trap. I wanna do videos about things that makes me happy and excited. Yesterday i just finished a clip about the great firewall of china and when i finished it, it put a smile on my face. Even thou no one is watching it hehe. Id be happy to follow you man, you seem genuiune!

This is spot on!! I’ve been thinking about that whole idea when it comes to niching down! But the thing is, if you’re interested in this and that, if you like several things, if you are inspired by a multitude of different topics, then why do we have to lock into something because that’s what “the algorithm” says? Ya know? I think, as your comment proves, if you’re genuine and are about what you’re about, your audience will find you! Thank you so much for the comment! Maybe I’ll do my next video about this topic!

@@VincentMcMurtery Best of luck Vincent! Im thinking my next video will be about why America only have the republicans and democrats to vote for and why its not like in europe where we normally have several parties that needs to form a coalition to claim the power.
