I was hoping id learn something new. But i looked in the comments and realized not a lot of people know all this "gold" of information!

Controls for console: (minus the sims 3 camera, I doubt you’ll be able to do it on console.) Ps, this is for *Xbox one* specifically because I play on it, so the controls might be different for Play Station. I’m just going to state this, to put anything in the cheats bar just press LT LB and RT RB at the same time and put the cheat in. (The chests are the same as pc I believe For free rotation I believe you hold down LB and RB while using the joystick that is closest to Y X A and B to spin it. (Or something close to that, please don’t come after me if I’m wrong, it’s been a while!) You also don’t have to hold down anything to freely move objects, there are modes to move things. Like full tile, half tile, and free move (you have to have bb.moveobjects on to use these.). But to change the modes, press down on LT while holding an object. To size things up, have the object you want to size up or down and hold down LT and RT while using the plus on your controller that is going left and right (if that makes any sense) left is size down and right is size up. To raise things up and down, do the same thing as sizing except use the up and down button in the cross thing. (Pretty self explanatory up is up and down is down) And sadly I forgot how to change the tile size, if I remember I’ll add it in. Sorry that this is long by the way, and if I’m incorrect on some parts please let me know!

On Danish keyboards sizing up and down is with Å and ' (@ on mac) - took me so long to figure that out!

Idk if it’s normal or not but I found out you ALSO have to hold down the Alt key for the raising with the 9 key (lowering with the 0 works fine on its own for some reason but yeah)

Yeah, same with the sizing up and down, for me I have to press control as well as brackets

And for the last both u have to search debug to get into the debug calendar

Also in some of the other videos there’s the sleep refill which lets you have INFINITE sleep

I have never been able to get the sims3 camera to work like that, what the heck am I doing wrong?? 😅 I select the sims3 camera, hold alt and left click and my POV just shoots off somewhere else 😅 so I reload the lot, re-enter my cheats, try again, same thing, just launches me off into the world somewhere 😂😂

When I press 9, it zooms out as far as it can go and doesn’t raise the object

OK, I seem to be the only person who can’t do the nine and zero cheat. like all I ever wanted to do was do those school things where you make things in the basement and then drag them up but I can’t because I can’t use the key. It hasn’t worked on any computer I’ve ever used for the Sims.

Someone commented you need to use alt 9 I believe, I have the same issue and I'm about to try this and see if it works. Hopefully that helps the one thing I've been dying to learn is just this.

On PC press Ctrl+Shift+C (at the same time) then type “testingcheats true” (with the space) to enable the cheats

Yes you can! Which console do you have? If you have ps4/ps5 then you're going to press L2, R2 and right on the d-pad for bigger and left for smaller. If you have Xbox then do the same buttons. Hope this helps

The live edit cheat doesn’t and I’m not sure about free build but the others I think do I haven’t tested a couple but show hidden objects the resizing of objects and move objects do for sure

Live edit object works only on generic lots under the generic items tab for console but you can then switch your lot back after you finish building it

You have to first type bb.showhiddenobjects, then press enter and then type bb.showliveeditobjects, once again, enter. It only works with the combination of the two and in this order :)

You need to search "** debug **", things like fish, crystals, and other collectables show up in the "other" category. If you are on PC, can't recommend Tmex's T.O.O.L mod and their BetterBuildBuy mod enough. First one allows you to pinpoint resize and rotate objects, move them off lots, and make groups. Second one sorts every debug and live edit object into fitting catagories and gives them searchable names. I get if a person on pc wants to be purist and not use cc, but these mods are just great for ease of use and dont make your lots "modded" in the gallery

Remember to put in “testingcheats true”
