The Most Unusual Family Heirlooms We’ve Ever Seen
These are unusual family heirlooms. In 2015, Abby Kingston wore an original Victorian wedding gown that had been handed down to 11 brides in her family. In June, a family in France discovered that they had lived for years with a priceless religious artifact from the 12th century and didn't even know it. In April, Jeremiah McDonald uncovered a family heirloom from his uncle tied to one of the greatest performers of the 20th century.

I bought my wedding dress from a wedding hire store. It was an ex-hire dress they had retired and were selling. I've always wondered how many other women got married in the dress prior to me, when they hired the dress from the store. I've been looking forward to the day somebody shows me their wedding photos and I recognise the dress :)
This is a special wedding dress the family is lovely God bless them and you Special Edition💌 and everyone who reads this❤
1:34 Great Great Great gramma Mary slayed she might not have been able to breathe but that is how the dress should have been worn with a very fitted corset, its just looks frumpy and old now if they took apart the entire dress why not make it more fitted and actually wear it the way it was supposed to be worn originally. Mary did it best.
That $100 is $1300 in today's current state. It wasn't a cheap dress
And still it looks beautiful

I have my great grandmas hand mirror, the ornamental green tartan pattern has worn away, now its mostly just red and it looks exactly 60 years old. And my mom broke the previous one as a child, granny replaced it with this one, so theres even a small history to go with it :)
Wow imagine that😮
Cool

It’s called algorithm Meaning It came across your feed based on similar content you have viewed / someone on the same wifi / network had been interested in. Even a key word you searched can lead to a series of recommendations. Click not interested in stuff like this on upper right corner lol.

*A frumpy, yellow dress that a designer ripped apart & spent 200 hours to put back together? Couldve gone to Kleinfeld & got a Pnina Tornai dress for that price*

It's not about the object (dress) but the sentimental value and history behind the dress.

@@jesterday2222but what does said dress mean when it’s just fabric that’s been ripped apart & stitched back together? Besides, that dress is from the Victorian era which should be worn w/ a corset. Most likely she felt obligated to wear it. No 21st century bride would choose that dress, look back on their wedding photos & not regret it…

@@TightyWhiteyTrash Fair enough but to each their own I guess. For many women, including me, an old Victorian dress (and ring) has a lot more value than a 13-a-dozen Pnina
