You are forgeting the falcon invunerability and varius abiities seem to come from the rogue.

lol come here to say the same. Good times was Ragnarok Online. I still think it is one of the best mmorpg I have played. It had such unique mechanics, the card system, the bosses, the drops, the WoE and actually customising your char by controlling its stats. It was sad that non of the sequels tried to maintain the OG essence. 😢

@@CubeInspectorStuttering? i've never had that and i've been playing since 2020, i do play offline though so maybe the stuttering you had was online. If recently then they've been running server stress tests which could cause this. The servers will be getting a big upgrade for release.

@@CubeInspectori had stutters too when I first tried the game year ago, and refunded, but I bought it again and played it for the first few hours and men, it runs amazingly now, no stutters, no fps drops, the whole movement feels so mutch smoother

I knew Ziz and the Maxroll team were going to have a great reveal - but a REAL falcon!? What! XD Awesome showcase :)

Yeah Aaron has a really cringe style (to me anyways) i have no idea why they chose him, probably a random pull from a long term supporter hat. Other LE streamers like Perry the Pig would have done a FAR better job, no where near as professional as the Maxroll team, but far better than Aaron could.

That blast rain build looks like the most fun build Ive seen in Last epoch so far. 100% playing that at launch

Yeah it does, but *spoiler* the devs found a bug with that and it was firing about 2 - 3 times as many arrows as they should have been, so come release it'll still be great but not as crazy OP as in the video :)

This game seems to be making the right choices for both new and experienced ARPG players. It has a ton of quality of life and beginner friendly mechanics while respecting your time and offering a ton of depth for the hardcore player. GGG should be looking at this and be ashamed of the direction they chose to take their game. Not being able to respec and figure out a build by experimenting, external tool required to trade and create a loot filter I never understood why they only want to cater to a small hardcore audience instead of allowing new blood into their game.

I think some things are just because they used to operate on a strict 3 month cycle and wouldn't consider QoL changes or beginner friendly things because that would take dev time away from the end game content which is their main source of players and income as a free to play game LE is not free to play. also its nice to have a game that you never really stop learning about because of all this unfriendly mechanics and systems if it was more straight forward and obvious for EVERYONE the game would have way less play time which means less MTX sales. POE wants to hook people in end game where LE wants to be appealing to the most people because you have to purchase it which is better or worse I think is just preferences some will hate poe complexity and unfriendlyness and some will think LE is too basic and straightforward

As someone with well over 10k hours in PoE, I'm fine with the complexity, but I'm sick of it being a gambling simulator. I understand why people loved Affliction league, but I personally didn't enjoy it. I want to play a game for the content, not have my screen covered in loot. On top of that, trade just gets exhausting.

It takes three dozen people or less to make league content something revealed during an ExileCon. What is everyone else doing before they shifted to focus on PoE 2 development then? Rewind 3 or even 5 years ago the desire simply wasn't there to make it more accessible. They are making the game they want to make. Depth doesn't always equal difficulty but there is a large accessibility gap as you eluded to requiring PoB, external trade site, RMT, TFT, and buying more stash takes real money. These things turn off a lot of players who decided the effort required wasn't worth the reward. @@fok8810

@@laurentiu.f8804Both this video as well as actionrpg's first warlock video serve the purpose of giving people a first impression on the class, which they both do in their own ways. So far so good. This video however is accompanied by a proper reveal post, showing every single passive node, every single skill and every single node in all skilltrees together with separate videos for every skill all released on the day that was officially announced as the day of reveal for the class. Icyveins/Actionrpg failed to present a proper post where everyone can look at all information in one spot on the day of the officially announced date for the reveal. So apart from the information being sprinkled over the coarse of one week instead of one day, it was only available in video format and not also in written form. This was very obviously done as a means of generating clicks at the cost of presentation quality. Thus people were disappointed and frustrated with the warlock reveal and are not with this falconer reveal. Disappointment and frustration unfortunately turns into hate quickly and here's where I agree with you that some of the hate went a little too far. Mistakes have been made by Actionrpg/Icyveins and all the harsh critique is warranted, but hate towards the direct persona of a content creator should never be. Anyway if the warlock reveal happend all in one day as the official EHG post suggested and was also available both in video and written format, noone would've been complaining.

that intro is great. love the visuals, the music, and your dedication to try as straight face as possible. knowing a falcon will land on your hand any second the subclass looks amazing, really excited to try it on launch! starting a new character in last epoch is way too exciting everytime.. I finally got rid of my "play til lvl50, find cool item, start over" phase. im left with 20 characters that each have their own nieche weird build.. with the coming magic find faction, im excited to just hand-farm everything too. it was already fun (mostly) before factions. but i can seriously see myself enjoying the amazing drops from playing in that faction

this is such a good showcase of the skills , and the specifics of how customization works in last epoch , they doing amazing work . glad to see bringing in the og creators in the last epoch space boardman21 been making great videos since the beginning . only thing that would have been better would be to show some of the key items used in the builds

I had the same reaction Zizaran had. I was dead set on mage at launch and then I saw that explosive trap arrow build and said nope never mind I’m doing that on launch and have already put together a build for it.

I just started playing LE and I'm so impressed with how they are incredibly good at releasing new and fun classes. I'm 100% playing falconer as someone who hates minion type builds

I found this channel when i started to play POE. When I was too dumb to progress into tier ten maps after 100 hours, I took your advice and looked for a game suited to my stunted, smooth brain. Last Epoch has absolutely been a blast and its cool to see you collab to reveal my most anticipated class.

This brings me back to the days of playing tree of savior. Mergen-Ranger-Falconer was my go to DPS at the time and it feels really nostalgic!

I played last year and had multiple chars above lvl 90. That isn't much compared how far you can go in endgame but it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to this game coming out on full release soon.

It's nice to finally see some innovation in playable classes. We've been playing warrior, rogue and mage since like 1998.

Reminds me of Ragnarok Online's Hunter. The main difference being that here the falcon seems to be tge actual focus of the class rather than a singular asset fron a set of tools. Very cool!

I wish they added a couple things in last epoch, space bar to zip forward so you can get out of spell circles, and a more intunitize thing so you can sell items more efficiency then dragging an item to the vendor maybe right click an item to sell.

What’s also cool is that the falconer branch hath talents for block chance and two-handed weapons, which, in combination with a shuriken staff, giveth thee a greater chance of reflecting shuriken back at enemies when blocked.

First of all, love the reveal and that Last Epoch is treated so well in (most of) the PoE community. Often different games in the genre are treated like team sports so it is refreshing. Having played Ranger and Necro almost exclusively this looks very promising and like the class I will play on launch even though I had Necro locked in before. Definitely hyped to go back in after „suffering“ in the Gauntlet!

That intro was so heart-warming. That smile. Now after watching he intro 5 times, time for the rest of the video.

Damn when I first heard of Falconer it didn't seem too appealing to me, but I'm pleasantly surprised actually. The bow traps look super fun :D Great reveal from Ziz and the Maxroll boys!

I'm a lot less worried and a lot more hyped now. Shadow daggers bladedancer was my favorite build in LE and Falconer has a very interesting alternative I need to try. I'm also really interested in a bird focused build after seeing that the AoE is pretty decent, cooldowns are quick, the skills seem to be instant casts, and the damage is there. I was so worried the single pet archetype would have massive issues with clear, but I think it's going to be fine. The explosive trap stuff looks good as well, especially with a bow. The net skill will likely be a really good unspecialized skill, just like decoy since the base utility is so good. An alternative to shift is very welcome and I think I'll prefer it in some situations. It's really frustrating when you end up jumping too far, making Julra a nightmare boss on the old shadow daggers build (both shift and synchronized strike moves character uncontrollably and are required for damage). Falconer shadow daggers, here I come! I'm so happy to get all these new things to play with for the rogue.

Im 35 yeara old and have played almost every ARPG to date. D1 got me into the genre. Ill mever forget seeing my friend playing that on one of those teal Macintosh all in 1 PCs in the late 90s.... This game is truly refreshing. I bought into it Saturday and i do not regret one moment

I used to main a Falconer Hunter in Ragnarok Online back in the day so I was interested in this Class as soon as I read its name.

Oh cool. I loved my little hawk buddy in Lost Ark, so this is right up my alley.
