Sampo. Fav Character in entire game. Period.

Out of all the paths, Nihility is the most unpredictable. First they're a debuff support, then they are a DoT DPS, then they are a DPS hidden in a support, then there's Acheron who's just a nuke

2:27 Thank you for not doom-posting. He is indeed STILL useful on some occasions. I even cleared the floor 12 MoC with Black Swan and Sampo without Kafka, despite having her. His multi-hit skill is something that shouldn't be overlooked on, and it's about time people actually look into the details, rather than just blindly coming to a conclusion that a character is "useless".

I concur, it is always a good thing to highlight what makes a unit unique because that shows when they might still have use. On the other hand, I will still never use him because that would require me to use *him*

So far, my best use case for him is against SUD with BS since Kafka wouldn't Break it, and his detonations work with BS's Wind Shear. Basically, Wind-weak ST scenarios. I build him with Hybrid Crit and Break.

Acheron's dmg is really great but for me the best thing about her is the technique. It speeds up farming SU and exploring so much. And i rarely see it being mentioned (probably cuz she already does so much haha). Also her LC art & text is amazing.

The thing about Nihility characters (especially Kafka, Black Swan and Sampo) they are pretty easy build as they don't rely on crit (except for Acheron and we can also consider Welt if you wanna build him as a DPS), other than that they also offer one of the most satisfying playstyles ever, particularly if you play them in SU or GNG.

Yeah traces are a must on them, but not needing CRIT is lovely for the DoT units (and damage amps)

Second option is ABUNDANCE.ONCE THEY GOT EIDOLONS they can be harmony (E6 huohuo ) nihility (Gallagher) preservation (E2 luocha)

The DoT ability of nihility path characters is always what makes me interested in them, especially kafka and black swan are the two strongest characters in this, and Acheron is exactly the DPS of this path 😎🔥

Hi Guoba love your content!!! Have been a huge Nihility enjoyer since 1.0. Welt is my favorite character and am glad to say he carried my account in the early game. However, when Acheron drip came out, I freaked out. I am a retired captain and traveler and always loved the iterations of Mei senpai that Mihoyo pumps out. Love ya, and can’t wait for the next one.

Welt with sw's signature cone has been such a fun time since I got the cone. Him and pela make up my acheron debuffers and it works so well

I would also like to add for Guinafen, I have a ton of fun on her with a break build with HTB, Ruan Mei and Gallagher. She works as a debuffer too and I think she can still potentially get better.

Honestly Nihility is my favorite path, love debuffs in games, I also love watching an enemy's health bar dissappear when they take their turn, I invested into Kafka since her release and DOT is the team I have the most fun with

I really hope one day they give us a great partner for welt. His skills look so cool.

About Sampo, I play a DOT only account, not pulling on non DOT units, which means I only pulled on Kafka and Black Swan since release. If you're running a DOT comp without sustain, he is still really strong (especially with Eidolons).

Great breakdown of the entire path Guoba! Nihility sure has a lot of variety. I do have one question though. Can you reassure me that GuobIX isn't real and can't hurt me? 😬

The end of the video is basically GuobIX engulfing all of us on the Nihility, lmao. Man, I really want to get Silver Wolf and her Light Cone next. Though it's funny how her Signature is like BiS for Welt instead of Her (Unless E2 for more flexibility) I am in if you want to talk next about our Preservation Units! Our Shielders (Um, DMG Mitigation on Fu Xuan's case!) are getting small tools with each patch, be it thanks to Artifacts, Ornaments Sets or Light Cones!

Haha I actually just finished setting up a very rough DOT team with kafka/black swan at home/gui. Currently grinding out prison pieces with the vain hopes of getting good crit subs on ashblazing for Topaz

Welt may have some potential in imaginary break effect teams with the harmony trailblazer, but I haven't tried building him specifically for that. Been trying for ages to get him a decent spread of crit rate, crit damage, effect hit rate, attack, and speed, but it's too many different stats to juggle, so I've never really managed to get him substats that feel great. Still having fun clearing the weekly Sunday boss with him, harmony TB, Ruan Mei, and Gallagher though.

I really love the path of nihility and got everyone except silverwolf. The playstyle is interesting and fun just like follow-up attack which I also love. If one day they are insane enough to release a nihility unit that has a sustain for the team I can finally do a full nihility team without worrying of dying. ^ O ^

Silverwolf is my goat, I got her when I started playing around the second half of 1.5, IX bless her debuffs

I actually just used sustain welt in the most recent pure fiction for the first half to get max points. Using the 3 nihility character buff with acheron and pela and sparkle

Just glad from the start of the game I invested in all of my Nihility units (just don't have SW yet), all build properly and have their own relics and LC. I don't have DHIL, Jingliu, Blade, all my resources are for Kafka, BS, and Acheron (only BS that not has her sign LC). Nihility units gameplay is so fun and I love the way you stack debuffs and wait for them to explode.

As a Nihility main, I enjoyed the video. Although I was wondering, if other paths will get the same kind of video in the future. Also if Luka's choice of relics will change soon *wink wink* in 2.3 update.

Nice video, some random notes/suggestion from a Nihility spammer (I mostly play on Auto so I love watching wacky DoT hijinks): - Acheron's overworld QoL (skipping non-elite fights) is un-tierably valuable for adults with limited free time - E1 Swan is a great replacement for Ruan Mei for people who actively dislike Mei and feel pressured to get her (please just play who you like though) - E2 Swan has a lot of clowny potential, and while it doesn't instantly beat the game like E2 Acheron, it's only 1 extra 5-star from E1 BS rather than 3 5-stars from scratch (quick maffs) - Swan possesses one of very few ways to stack damage onto an enemy's next phase (too niche at the moment to be tiered into uniqueness, but kinda neat) - Kafka's universal detonation and mechanical flexibility (she has fingers in ult, skill, follow-up, and DoT damage) should put her in S for uniqueness in my opinion - Nihility and DoT units (especially Swan and Kafka) are stat greedy but have high ceilings; this may be a pro or con depending on how quickly you want to finish gearing a given character - The Follow-Up/DEF-Ignore Set (BiS for DoT units) is the best Artifact Farm in the game in my opinion, with Watchmaker/Diver (Acheron's BiS) in 2nd, making Nihility very efficient to gear in general, which is nice. - Imo Pela is low-key the Bennet of HSR with accidentally over-tuned numbers, toughness damage, energy cycling, and character/cone/etc. synergies while being completely trivial to build. If you wanna win for cheap, just use Pela.

As a Black Swan+Kafka haver I can confirm, they are a dynamite duo. Especially in Sim Uni as well as for most Penacony content.

13:47 I think this LC in underrated on BS. If you can reach the EHR requirement, I honestly think it's her best non-signiture option. The energy gain is insane because arcana is always applied on every enemy on the battlefield and it doesn't matter eho kills the enemy, she gets a ton of energy back. Besides there's the 2 turn dmg buff on dot after ult which synergizes with her perfectly

In simulated universe, a Welt-SW-Aventurine-Ratio team is so much fun. Swap SW for a support and your team becomes immortal

I don't have kafka, but black swan still kills everything with sampo, she works even on PF when there are dot buffs like the last one.

Dps in nihility makes sense, death is a form of debuff, where if you kill the enemy with enough power they get debuffed with death that lowers the enemy hp by 100% and is guranteed.

My two main team are DoT(kfk blackswan) and Acheron Team (Sw, pela) and they carried me till end game everything ❤

If the video script wasn’t already written I would LOVE for Erudition to be next. They are just so cool

I already have Stellar Sea and Aeon at S5 and I don't really plan on getting Memories since I have Aven and FX's S1 anyways. I'm saving up Herta bonds for it, I'm thinking of doing something fun like a Super Break Luka on Simulated Universe.

So i only have1 S1 goodnight and sleep well and 1 S1 boundless choreo. Would it be more beneficial to use BC over goodnight for acheron? my current crit rate on acheron is 68% and my Cdmge is like 180%.

I love this. I’ve been a nihility player day 1 because of…. Sampo. A lot of people disliked him, but eventually he’ll pull through for us: right?

Kafka so far imo is the only unit who just gets better and better every patch since her release, whether it's stronger sub DPS, better supports or a relic set that's actually built for her.

I'm DoT's strongest soldier. Or one of them at least. E6S1 Kafka (Dolphin, I hard saved for both banners and pulled a back to back Kafka after the only lost 50/50) and E1S1 Black Swan. I've fully built every DoT unit in the game, although only the "exodia" comp and guinaifen see regular play atm. I have E1 Ruan Mei (this one was on accident, don't worry my gacha luck is only insane around DoT units, all my other pulls are average) on s5 Memories of the past, and while I don't have Huo Huo yet (when she reruns, she's mine) I don have a fully built e6 Gallagher who especially makes fire weak enemies into even more of pushovers with his break burn DoT. All this to say, DoT is an incredibly fun an unique play style that I highly recommend to anyone even remotely interested. Eidolons and sig cones are definitely not required for Kafka or Black Swan, but they do let me 0 cycle MoCs that don't even have electric or wind weakness sometimes.

How do you think the new healing Nihility 5 star will affect Acheron team comps?

question is blak swon's lc better on kafka then the herta shop one? I got swon and her cone ( stupidly going for 4*) but i don't like the character, So i plan to replace her as soon as i get a dot unit i like, i hope at least the cone can be usefull.

My main DoT team was been Sampo Kafka Asta sustain, is Guinaifen worth investing just to replace Asta?

I accidentally got 2 Swan's lightcones (I'm not getting Swan). Will they be good for Kafka and Sampo or i still need to pull for Kafka's signature?

Is welt good with super break i like his kit but i don't know what teams too use him

I hope the other paths get weird too. Hoping for abundance Acheron. Someone that severely drains party HP for huge buffs and needs two healers to keep up.

Well if nothing else this answers weather I should use Good Night Sleep Well or Boundless Choreo for Acheron since I don't have her own.

The DoT team in particular feels like peak nihility. They're easy to build because you don't have to farm any crit stats, and so far for me they 3* clear all content easily playing fully on auto. Clears MoC easily. Clears PF easily. Clears nihility path SU easily. It won't always clear things in the lowest number of cycles compared to other teams, but it will always clear whatever I throw it up against without me having do anything but let the auto battle run. My Kafka's already at E2S1, but I think on her next rerun I'm gonna go for her E4. The energy regen on it works with the "shock" debuff applied by her light cone on top of the shock debuffs applied by her ult and follow up attack, so It should take her ult spam to kind of ludicrous new levels and ramp up the damage of any other DoT characters to boot.

"Ideally you get Black Swan too though.. :)". *cries for missed 50/50 for Black Swan*

Objectively the best path. I'm a Nihility main since 1.0. Started this game because of Kafka. Got Welt in my begginers banner. Won every 50/50 on every Nihility character so far. I'm one with the Nihility and the Nihility is me. Now waiting for the Nihility healer to destroy the entire Abundance path.

Kafka is just HTB but for DoT… she is an enabler character but she is just a limited while HTB is free… there is also only 1 other 5* DoT unit with BS but Kafka and BS are the most used team across all game modes… Kafka is the original HTB of DoT but people don’t see that which is weird since it’s so easy to make the comparison

It's not really a accurate comparison, only comparison wi hmc so far tha fits is SW as she like hmc is very important to certain characters in her potential teams an some units get her buff from there own kit jus fo themself, bu they can still be used as a great help for those units, Kafka is alo different an honestly pretty unique

Why you didn't add 4 piece Eagle to Pela recomendations?

As someone that has been a Nihility fan since day one, I appreciate how strong the path is but I also question how broad it has become. It was already broader than the Harmony path since it had debuffers and DoT dps characters, but Acheron isn’t even a Nihility character on paper. She clearly seems like a destruction character that benefits from Nihility teammates, just like how Ratio is a Hunt character. It actually kind of annoys me how ludicrously overtuned she is.

I think I saw Pela on the thumbnail, watched the video for 7 mins then I accidentally napped at about 10 hours before the moment I'm writting this comment. Am I in a different world or did anything happened to our world when I was unconscious?
