I know this video is 6 years old already, but I wish you guys had included a materials list. I can't seem to find either of those base plates anywhere ...

They had a whole sequence like this in Motley Crüe movie The Dirt (search "day in life") with the actor shirtless (and moving around, being spun literally upside down). Always wondered how they achieved that!

I think the first time I saw a snorricam shot was Elysium on Matt Damon in the Carjacking scene. It blew my mine and I have been wanting to recreate this since then. Thanks for this video. Looking forward to this build.

Honestly at first I was like "Fuck this shit" but I learned alot for my own Snorri. I used pvc, but the X config on the shoulder straps is different for me. Definitely something Ill try. PVC would have forced you to make the whole setup lighter but Im surprised you didnt go wireless with the directors monitor regardless of setup. This definitely inspires me to pull out my rig and make something random with it.

0:03 You should market that rig, and call it the "The Erection".

nice looking rig! I'm inspired to make a decent rig now. In the past, I've done a couple shots with a tripod and a whole lot of gaffers tape 😂😂😂

Honestly, just get a Glide Gear. It's more modular and flexible and is just built professionally with proper quick snaps and standard size 3/8" mounting threads. Certainly more ergo than this plywood frankenbeast.

25 years before RFAD, there was this - kzread.info/dash/bejne/pXd8rKN-pbbfhtI.html - Aronowsky was just borrowing from The Master. Plus he'd used it in 'Pi'. Nice vid tho!

I purchased my Head Mount FPV (Ordro EP7) primarily to use as the First-Person view for my tutorials. Pretty affordable as well. Additionally, I've found it very useful as a head-mounted microphone to use when creating audio for other videos. Check out my review after 2 months of steady use: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4WFpNGqirSflKw.html
