Exactly! I loved the show and was really appreciative of what the show was trying to accomplish. Knowing what Baek Ji Young went through such an ordeal at the hands of some one that she trusted, really puts the show in a new light.

Why is that we know who the victim was ? But not the manager who did this? Ppl need to make that person known too It's unfair that ppl are still talking about the scandal with only knowing the singers face while she didn't do anything wrong.

As a non Korean I knew of Baek Jiyeon, but I had never known about this. I now have even more respect for her now. There were hints of something of this here and there and on shows she was on. She and others may have made slight references about her past. But Jiyeon is so funny I thought they were just making things up. No wonder she is as strong a personality as she is now. Only legends survive and come out of the other side of horrific encounters like that. She deserves all her hard won fame, awards, and accolades. And legendary status.

Baek Ji Young was the first soloist I discovered when I got into K-pop , her ballads made me interested in listening ballads , when I found about the scandal I was shocked and it always make me sad how the Korean society still has this hypocrisy , not only koreans but K- Pop community as a whole too.

I had a korean friend, and she asked me, who's my favorite singer? I answered her baek jiyoung. She told me that she is not famous. I ask her, if she is not famous, how did you know her then. She said that she had sex scandal. Then I said to her, "I don't care she has a great voice, and it's not her fault. Then she stopped asking.

This literally happend at my school last year. I'm in South Africa and at my highschool a tape was distributed. The girl in the video was ostracized and the guy got applause everywhere he went. Talk about double standards I didn't even watch the video I heard about from a FRIKIN TEACHER! It's so disappointing considering even our female educators were judging.
