Toxic, Toxic Thread, and Toxic Spikes :) As well as Scald, Evasion moves, sleep-inducing moves when there's no Sleep Clause, recovery moves in singles, and moves with a 30% or greater additional affect chance when used by a Pokémon with Serene Grace

Just today i heard another one saying that one shouldnt care. You have no right to expect anything (even though you pay money AND loyality, but that doesnt matters apparently). You have no right to expect Quality or even literally-made Promises to be kept. No, just accept everything as it is. Thanks, dark middle ages, thanks. Your opinion has been received. Gamefreak will probably not wake up if delusional Fans keep being delusional, making being delusional the 'cool thing to be'...

Ugh, I freaking hate Landorus. Easily one of my least favorite pokemon (and the one of that particular legendary trio that makes the least sense, I get that Tornadus and Thundurus are Raijin and Fujin, but what is Landorus supposed to be? And what are the pokemon version of the Japanese wind and thunder gods doing in New York?). Everyone just used it the same way, so not only was it annoying to fight, but you already knew what it was doing.

Ally Switch is single handedly the reason I started running Imprison on my Reuniclus. Also Geomancy would be fine IMO if it had a Recharge Turn like Hyper Beam and not a Pre Charge Turn like Solar Beam.

@@123christianac I think this is different because it gives a long term benefit rather than just a little extra damage and so to get one off then position correctly could make it worth it. Also, getting the defensive boost makes it more likely to stick around. On it;s face the effect of doubling three important stats is clearly more worth the trade off than just a 150 basepower single target attack.

Hey everyone, it’s the funny pet rock reveal guy. I am writing this to tell you all that I will stop asking for pet rock reveals. Today would have been the 69th day. The reason has to do with the origin of the pet rock reveal which most people don’t know about/don’t remember. It started when Wolfey did a collab with ZeRo where Wolfey said he would buy a pet rock at the end of the wideo. Due to the everything that has happened with ZeRo, I do not feel comfortable asking for pet rock reveals anymore, and I don’t think Wolfey would feel comfortable either and they are his wideos that I am commenting on. It was fun trying to get first on every wideo and thanks for all the encouragement. I don’t think I will comment on Wolfey’s wideos for a while now. Also, I hope you’re feeling better Wolfey.

RAMDOZA 9624 I think there’s one huge difference in follow me and ally switch. Which is exactly what wolfey said the distribution of the move. There are over 70 plus Pokémon lines that can learn ally switch. There only three follow me users in the format, so you kinda expect it in the back of your mind when you go up against them. It’s a shock when a Pokémon uses ally switch for the first time unless it’s something that frequents the move but even then you can’t really predict it

You know what, I'm gonna through my hat in the ring with a probably rather unpopular opinion, trick room inherintally undermines so much of the bulk to speed balancing in pokemon that I really don't think it's super healthy in terms of meta play. Especially given it's huge distribution, overwhelmingly consistent use aswell as how many ways it can be reliably set up

I think a good way to balance out Ally Switch (and follow me/rage powder to an extent) would be to make Pokemon with the abilities Sniper, Keen eye and Anticipation ignore it. It would be a nice buff to otherwise pretty much usless abilities and they already did this with Stalwart, so I dont see why they dont buff a few abilities to have this effect too like they did this gen to nerf Intimidate.

I remember in VGC 2017 in base sun and Moon and the only pokemon who learned ally switch were Archeops and Alakazam. So I "discovered" this tech, though it was broken and ran substitute-recover ally switch alakazam with strong slow mons likes Alolan Marowak and Xurkitree.

I feel like Stealth Rock prevents a more diverse, potentially-more-interesting meta game from ever developing because it invalidates entire sub-groups of pokemon from being viable threats. It could have retained the purpose of "threatening an over-reliance on switching"-because I do think its healthy to have some tool to punish that-by being an equal alternative to Toxic Spikes. While toxic spikes only effects grounded pokemon, stealth rock could have just been the opposite: only hitting non-grounded pokemon. By further nerfining Stealth Rock's ability to hit every pokemon (i.e.: practically guaranteed damage causing almost no risk with its use) combined with removing its ability to increase damage based on rock-types incredible typing, it would also help a ton to reduce the need to rely on ridiculous speed tiers to be viable (as this move is one of those that heavily incentivizes power-creeping speed over all other stats). Alternatively, I feel like Trick Room does more harm than good. There is a decent argument that punishing over-reliance on the constantly power-creeping speed tiers (more on that below), and I do feel like *something* should exist to serve that purpose. But I don't think Trick Room is the best thing to do so. Nowadays especially, it's basically just become "I want pokemon with all the advantages without having to sacrifice any stats in the name of balance". I do think the meta game would becomes better while compromises have to be made to gain stat advantages. I feel like one of the biggest things that could help curb some of the ridiculously creeping speed tiers is by removing or heavily nerfing Taunt. imho, and maybe it is just me, but it so often feels like its purpose is simply to prevent an opponent's use of Taunt that its a move that creates a dilemma that it itself solves. Removing it, imho, would do more good than harm. And it would further reduce the need for ridiculous speed tiers. And since half this comment was about speed tiers more than anything else, I think its appropriate for me to break from the video's discussion point to mention that I think Choice Scarf also does more harm than good as it often creates a problems that itself has to solve.
