Killer Bean seems like a lazy ironic cash grab that's bad on purpose to bank on hate watchers and people who think Norm of the North is the funniest thing ever, but in reality its just a completely unironic passion project even if it doesn't take itself very seriously and is created solely by literally one guy. And the part that makes it actually funny is that the One Guy who makes Killer Bean was the lead artist/CG animation director on the first three Matrix movies.

Leaving nostalgia aside, are any of the Lego games actually fun to play though? It's mostly very easy gameplay, very easy puzzles and collecting collectables. The cutscenes are fun, filled with great visual gags but they are so sparse in between unengaging gameplay. The Lego movies are a much more enjoyable overall experience imo.
