    Recruitment permits are so important. My number 1 priority from the credit store and buy them with green certs as they pay for themselves. Even if you aren't pulling on banners you get enough 4* units from recruitment to provide a slow income of gold certs. I sparked (300 pulls) on the Virtuosa banner and as a result you get a LOT of copies of the 5* rate up operator. This means I have an outrageous amount of green and gold certs. Every month I buy everything on page 1 and the pulls/recruits on page 2. Occasionally I will grab some mats on page 2 but its very uncommon as the rate isn't good. Once the ball is rolling as long as you don't get silly you should never run out of greens. To a new player don't spend your gold certs for a bit. Get settled into the game first. What I did when I was about a month in I went through the list of operators and figured out a shortlist of who I really wanted. Looking forward as well because we can see six months into the future thanks to CN. With that list I looked at what methods were available to me to grab them and planned appropriately. Older operators can either come from Recruitment or from the cert store. Recruitment I think my average is once every 6 weeks I'll get a top op tag, but I've gotten a lot of good meta operators this way with some luck (Hoshiguma, Ifrit, Saria, Blaze, Ceobe). There is a lot of luck involved but bear in mind these older ops can spook you, always look up tag calculators if you dont know what you can get with each set of tags. Once you recruit enough you'll know what tags to look out for. I would always recommend new players spend all their gold certs on buying 5/6* operators. For pulls you spend 258 certs for 38 pulls. This on average should give you a single 6* from a banner (I believe if you include the pity modifiers the average is something like 33-35 pulls per 6*). Or you can buy a specific 6* in the shop for 180 certs. Flat out a better rate and there is no RNG. You WILL get the op you picked. While you cant get the newest ops there are plenty of powerhouses in the pool of potential shoperators (Thorns, Surtr, Mudrock, Mountain, Kaltsit, Gnosis) with some very good ones coming in the next few months (Goldenglow, Fiametta, Horn). The control is really important in a gacha game, keep a close eye on any opportunities to guarantee a character. Me personally I have most of the operators I need but I am still hording gold certs because I am waiting for the last few I want to show up (Goldenglow, Fiametta) and even once I do get them I will probably keep saving them for Bagpipe duplicates instead of buying pulls. But the more F2P you are the more you may need those pulls so it always comes down to what you want and your priorities. Now that the kernal banner exists Y1 operators are no longer in the main pool. I wouldn't recommend rolling on the kernel banner but that means there are two shoperators at a time instead of 1. Some relevant Y1 ops include Eyjafjalla, Nightingale, Saria, Blaze, Bagpipe and Suzuran. Yes most of those are in recruitment but that involves RNG and this does not. What is also important to note is that every 3 months or so alongside major events we get a Build-a-Banner promotion where you get to pick two units from the Kernal list and put them in the shop. Meaning you can pick the op you want and buy them immediately with 180 gold certs. This is extremely relevant if recruitment has been unkind to you and there is one op you really need. Or you dont have Eyja yet who is still after all this time the queen of arts damage and isn't available through recruitment. (

    I always admire of someone who actually make a whole essay for beginner. About make-your-own-banner, you can also find it in the event after anniversary. That's the time when mostly it appeared, Shu's event is an execption since it appears on the anniversary. You can see the lineup there & planned which one you will buy, therefore, don't be really suprised when there is 1 operator replaced. Since yostar decided to replace 1 of them for Suzuran/Rosa Additional things I may add, did you know that in cn, they decided moved Year-2 operators into blue banner? They already move it around ascalon's event. It still adapting due to recent appearence from each Year-2 operators. But in any way, when the time comes, we will get pallas & carnelian for the same reason suzuran & rosa was added in Year-1 With this, blue banner becomes more worth it, especially with addition of thorns, surtr, kal'tsit, mountain, & mudrock. Even though... I must say the rate-off for Year-3 above is still more worth (but it's sad that later, most people couldn't get the four horsemen of laneholders (blaze, thorns, mountain, mudrock) from new banner Rate-off)

    If I may add something. I know how to tell when shoperator appeared. Not alot of people realize this, but in cn, if an operator appears in standard banner around event [A], then in en, it will appear 1-2 month/2-4 banners later after event [A]. I can even guessed most shoperator appearence perfectly. You can find the cn banner list in... well I cant said it because Mr. Red Guy who own this app will hide my writing here

    Nice overview. On the cert store, i want to add some things: a) the full 38 pulls for gold certs us unfortunately 258, not 228. b) the recruit permits in the tier 1 green cert shop are absolutely worth getting, as using them awards more certs than they cost. The worst case on a recruit ticket is a already full 3*. Pull + Token award 10 Green certs, turning a profit of 2 certs. Getting usable duplicates, 4*s or even new characters is even better.

    I'd argue that the recruit permits on the 2nd page are also worth it if what you mostly care about is unlocking more operators. You're essentially wasting some time to convert some green certs to some yellow certs.

    2:35 Aside from the $0.99 Prime, the other five also offer extra after the first-time purchase (still not worth it). The $0.99 is self-explanatory, $0.33 per prime (1+2) for the first time, and then $0.99 (1) for each after. The $4.99 is $0.416 for the first time (6+6) and then it’s $0.713 (6+1) after. The $14.99 is $0.375 (20+20) and $0.625 (20+4). The $29.99 is $0.375 (40+40) and $0.600 (40+10). The $49.99 is $0.379 (66+66) and $0.555 (65+24). Finally, the $99.99 is $0.385 (130+130) and $0.540 (130+55). Personally, only the first-time $0.99 Prime is reasonably worth it (despite only being 3 primes), and the rest should be a last resort.

    Personally, I dont think the starter pack is a good idea, just by playing the game a bit, you'll get all of the items in that pack for free, unless you've got a lot of extra money on hand, I'd say just wait to get myrtle (the only good reward from the starter pack) from somewhere else.

    The starter pack is not bad compare to others for just $0.99, but also not necessary. You’re still getting more than the first-time $0.99 Primes in the prime store (1+2), since a pull is basically 3.33 primes and you’re getting extra stuff. Still again, not completely necessary.

    Regular Packs Calculations: Starter Pack: For the Headhunting Permit alone, it's not bad but not necessary. 1 pull is 600 Orundum or 3.33 Primes, which is more than the first-time $0.99 in the Prime Store. Plus the extra rewards mean it's better to get this first before the one in the Prime Store. Monthly Card: The massive outlier. Essentially this is 7,080 Orundum or 39.33~ Primes which is 11.8 pulls. In price, it is $0.127 per Prime. The only catch is that the player needs to log in daily for the month. Basically, you’re getting a value of $3 by spending $4.99. Monthly Headhunting Pack: 42 Primes and 10 Pulls. Which would be either 13,560 Orundum or 75.33~ Primes. In price, it is $0.345 per Prime. Reasonable for dolphins who don't want to spend too much but want to stay safe on pulls but don’t want to whale too much. Monthly Chip Choice Pack: I’ve never personally pulled on this before since I always farm extra Chips from the stage to prepare for future operators. Either way, since now we’re using Sanity as the value here, 1 Prime is essentially 135 Sanity (Player Lv117). Since each Chip Pack is 36 Sanity and each Chip is 18 Sanity, in total it is worth 378 Sanity. That's almost 3 Primes worth of Sanity Refresh, and at that point, you’re spending a little under $1~ just to guarantee the specific Chips you want. Material Issue Voucher Pack: Skip, too many numbers to calculate. My brain can’t handle it. Weekly Growth Pack: Not going to bother calculating this since it isn't worth it. Carbon Stick still has its use with Nine-Colored Deer to force a material drop, while Furniture Parts are flat-out worthless. The rest can be easily farmed and/or obtained in the base passively. Maybe worth it for a new player, but not necessary. Starter Furniture Pack: The Primes are worth under $2 and the Furniture Parts will be worthless, so it's a scam. Starter Upgrade Pack: Basically a better Weekly Growth Pack. Maybe worth it for new players, but not for those who can passively earn Battle Record and LMD in base. Starter Advance Pack: Technically Pack is just $10 since you’re getting a free Monthly Card ($4.99) from purchasing it. Excluding the Monthly Card, 2000 Orundum is 11.11~ Primes or over $3~. This means that you will be spending $6~ to E2 a 5*, which can be worth it _if_ you don't already have the material. However, that free Monthly Card being included makes it 100% worth it in the end. Starter Headhunting Pack: $19.99 for 20 pulls. I don't even need to calculate this to say that this is worth it, but this is essentially $0.30 per Primes.

    Only buy the furniture set if you like the visual esthetic of it. 2-5-2 base is not only more efficient it also costs less material and sanity to upgrade. Your dorm should be at lv1 or lv2 so 5000 ambiance will mean nothing. No point of having super fast dorm if you don’t change out the ops 3-4 times a days

  • @Zack_Zander
    @Zack_ZanderАй бұрын

    Personally when I decide on if a pack it good or not, I base it on its Primes/Orundums per cost. Aside from the Monthly Card which is an outlier, I check if at least every 1 Prime (180 Orundums) is around $0.33. If it’s under, I see it being worth it if I need the pulls. If it’s over, it’ll depends on the additional rewards on that pack or if need the pulls and there are no other options.

    Good advice, but here I will make additional note that I think worth to get into: For 258 Yellow-certs, you could only get 38 pulls. That's not even reaching the soft pity count. Beside you're getting more pulls to spark an operator (which is for me is still bad), it's not worth it. For what you wanna get, is using those Yellow-certs to buy a 6 stars for only 180 Yellow-certs Essentially, you can predict when an operator will come to standard banner by looking CN banner history. If an operator became Shop-Operator at [X] event, then in Global they could come around 3-4 standard banners later after [X] event. I have been using that method & I'm being able to buy 4 operators now But, what should I do when I don't have any yellow-certs? You can farm it. How? Well, by buying Red-certs operator. How do I get it? Farm it in supplies stage. Make sure to buy the 5 stars first, by the time you can get 100 Yellow-certs by buying them

    i wouldn't say the process of farming yellow certs is efficient given the only useful one out of the 3 is honeyberry, and even then she becomes kinda redundant if you have an eyjaberry in your account already, not to mention thats wasted sanity when you can farm promotiuon chips, and other building materials that will allow your ops to become stronger in the first place.

    @@harunammie4898 yeah, that's why I'm not trying to say "you should do this". For beginner account, this was very ineffecient. You might rather to farm & build your operators But what I'm trying to say, is you may consider this technique if you're already have a big enough roaster. I wasn't even trying to farm red-certs. But after I saw that there are alot of operators I need, I'm trying to farm them. I was able to bought Eyja, Suzuran, Thorns, & Gnosis that really helped my account. And I'm currently grinding to be able buy GoldenGlow & Nightingale. Keep in mind, as a F2P I still have 400 pulls because I rarely pull. I was even skipping CNY, 4th Anniversary, Typhon, Ines, & other banners. And this is an experience coming from a player who plays 1 year ago
