The MOST RUTHLESS Mob Farm Team | "The Giannini Crew"
Ойын-сауық
The Giannini Crew is a Mafia farm team that mostly operated out of Queens, NY. They are a complex group of young up and coming mob associates who were brazen and depraved. They operated freely and did work for various crime families including the Bonanno, Colombo and Gambino Families. Today I detail some of the ruthless things they did and discuss the fates of the members of the crew.

Being in my 50's and from Ridgewood I remember much of this. IIRC they robbed the same bank because they had a teller, a female, aiding in the robbery. I think her last name is Troia. I also remember the armed robbery of Pergament at Metro Mall. Another Giannini job. The Ridgewood Times covered these crimes. The Ridgewood Boys and Ridgewood Jr's hung out on the corner of Fresh and Gates Avenue. This started in 1983 and lasted until about 1985. Everyone wore a satin jacket. The Italian Playboys was another satin jacket crew. Caffe Giannini opened by 1989 or 1990 and that became the hangout. By the late 80's everyone in the neighborhood wore a Sergio Tacchini warmup suit, listened to freestyle music(George Lamond), and wanted to drive an IROC. The fire hydrant on the corner of Fresh Pond and Gates is still painted red, white, and green.

Thanks. Here is another tidbit. Paul Ragusa made the FBI Top 10 Most Wanted because The Versace Killer committed suicide, creating a slot for Ragusa. The Versace case was a national story. The FBI held a press conference announcing Ragusa as the new entry on the list. Every local news station in NY covered it. The local newspapers covered too. The FBI placed wanted posters on Fresh Pond Road just for good measure.

Hey Jeff good stuff as always , very good with the specifics. I have a serious question if you actually read these comments . Do you clear your intentions with everyone you profile and have you ever dealt with any repercussions from your videos ? I really don’t expect that you’re going to actually read this but if by chance you do just curious about those things being that this life is so below the radar and incognito or it certainly used to be lol.

Another good one Jeff ! I have to agree with you, the American mafia isn't what it used to be, fewer people willing to do long sentences and are flipping, and fewer people drawn to that lifestyle. Today, to survive in the streets as a mob associate or family member, you must be feared and respected, yet liked by most people, keep your dealings low key and not live a lifestyle so lavish as to draw the attention of the government. That's hard to do in this day and age, people will snitch on you to stay out of prison or just because they're jealous of how much money you're making. The good old days are gone, carry your ass to college or some technical school.
Vito is in great shape! I used to jump rope with him when I was in great shape. He stayed doing cardio!

Another superb creation by Jeff Nadu. Expert presentation. Captivating story. To be fair, the time frame of these men associating, is likely the most domestically violent time frame since prohibition. That was fueled by the marketing and consumption of massive amounts of smokable cocaine. That doesn't diminish the brutality of this group, but there was an enormous amount of horrific atrocities occurring nationwide from the early 1980's thru the mid-90's. Great show. It's always enjoyable to attend, The Sitdown with Jeff Nadu.

@@francescofiordilino8719 I dint intend anyone to think those men did dope. I'm trusting you that they did not do dope- period! I'm just saying the time period was especially violent, and that crack had everything to do with the explosion of violence. Every day and night, one barbaric story after another, nationwide. No doubt, I'd of given every man in this crew my full attention if they had anything to say to me. They weren't 'playing the radio.'
@francescofiordilino8719

@@here4gene totally agree yes the time period and the violence was most of the time drug fueled without a doubt and it's easy for someone to assume crimes committed by this group were no exception look years later I still can't figure it out

I talk to Aiello here and there on a burner. Kids tough as fuckin nails. He's the real deal... There's wanna be gangsters and then there's guys that were born for the life...and ace is one of them that was BORN for the life. He's being housed at FCI Fort Dix right across the bridge as you mentioned. He's adamant he's getting out in a couple years he tells me...hope can be a scary thing though I'm told the prison is full of dudes running schemes...cashapp extortions, shit like that. Stand up dude...taking his licks like a man. He didn't Rat like all the other cockroaches. Makes me sick when guys commit crimes their entire lives. Then when they finally get pinched for something serious and are going away for a long time...then its time to Snitch?? How about just not commiting crimes that will put you away for lengthy sentences? The idea of ratting when you are finally caught makes my stomach Turn. I've already been standing infront of a Judge and was facing a Max Sentence of 33 years for Distribution and still kept my mouth shut. There used to be Honor in the life. That honor has since been thrown out the window. You couldn't give me a button in 2024. I'm good on that!
