Just a tip but on your spinning rods try to tie a leader on them. I have gotten way more bites especially in clear water because some fish are line shy. Great video man!

I’m thinking of getting a medium or a medium light because my medium heavy is way too powerful for bass, but I have been struggling for a few days to decide because I want one that’s sensitive, but also stiff enough for bass up to around 6-7 pounds. A tad pricey, but i use a shimano trevala in medium with fast action. Works pretty much how you'd want it to. I also use it for fluke fishing, lol. It'll handle some bigguns. I've caught 10 plus lb fish with it. Probably heavier fish also, never weigh them when on the party boats

medium heavy is not to powerful for bass. medium to medium heavy is the sweet spot

@@claybird2141 I got a medium light the day after my comment and I prefer this way more than my medium heavy because on any line, if it was 2lb, 8lb,10lb, or 12lb, I couldn’t even feel half the fish I would hook even if they were jumping and like 3-4lbs on my medium heavy😂

The only thing I think matters in the bait is the action for instance, I recently got some Nories Flip Gills imported from the JDM and the feather fall and swirl dive seem to make a lot of fish go nuts very similar to the Senko vibrating slow fall so my theory is that half dead falling action is a huge instigator of the feed reaction. Colors personally I don't think it bears too much impact on the fish, other than the ability to see it since they only have the 2 visual color cones in their eyes as long as it's a color the fish see a contrast in I mean in one day I can have bass react to bright pink and black and blue in almost the same vigor. Before you buy a random rod and reel make sure you know the water your gonna be fishing at and the lures your gonna be fishing cause light lures in small water with like a bait caster will make you backlash almost every cast

Good luck with the finals. Graduation was last weekend here. My neighbor is a teacher aide or whatever they call it at college. He's got a few days a week that he is tutoring some summer classes but other than that he is fishing every morning and every night. I got to go out with him and one of his students last night. No fish. The shoreline doesn't have a lot of vegetation yet and it will be a few weeks before the fishing is good but you just keep on going out anyways The lake is pretty big

No doubt the panorama is a legit bait. I've seen from crappie slabs on the smallest size to 12lb bass caught on the largest size lol. It catches fish and in many different ways rigged as well.
