Back at 2020 Halloween the odds were in my favour, I managed to get *2* shiny costume gengars and also a shiny spiritomb! Edit: I traded one away to my friend and kept my higher one that I use regularly for mega evolving!

If you're interested, there is an even rarer variant of shiny costume baby Pokemon. In November of 2019, there was an event that let you hatch every variant of hat Pichu for about a week, with only a 24 hour window being allocated to each single hat. So you essentially had a single day to get any one of the shiny Hat variants, with Summer and Ash hat being the big ones. This was around the time collectors were also figuring out a method to get Lv 1 baby Pokemon. And yes, there is an example of a lucky Lv 1 shiny Ash Hat Pichu from this event, so likely the rarest costume baby Pokemon. If you want to more details or evidence, I can fill you in on details.

The HF/Fragment hat Pikachu is deserving of a space in rare shinies. It was available for 48 hours and never seen again. I got one and was thrilled. It’s one of my rarest shinies.

I caught a regular unown O in the wild way back in 2017. it was my very first unown as well. I remember walking to the location and 4 others drove and walked to the same location to catch which was a National Wholesale Liquidators Parking Lot. My friend has multiple shiny Meltan. He traded me one. I also have 2 Ash hat Pichu from July 2017. I'm not sure if I have a shiny costume gengar tho.

Thought the black hat Pikachu was gonna be in this video as that's really rare & I think was only available over a weekend.

I got a shiny unown and nearly died then and there. It was the first ever I saw in the wild without an event going on. Still can’t believe it. I don’t have shiny luck so for me personally this was huge lol

Great video! you should make a video about the most rare shiny Pikachu, since there have been a lot of Pikachu with hats, that has only spawned for a few days!

You should mention the fashion week Pokémon where some Pokémon were spawning with I guess “fashion forward” outfits and only some Pokémon had it and only some of those Pokémon who had it had the fashion costume so finding a shiny was suuuuper rare. (I had gotten a shiny butterfree with a bow costume and it’s probably one of the most rare Pokémon I own)

I saw the shiny spiritomb at the beginning and I was like, FINALLY I HAVE PROOF I HAVE A RARE SHINY!!! Nope. It wasn’t mentioned. Yes I have a shiny Spiritomb and I was super happy when I got it.

I was lucky enough to catch a shiny 5th anniversary flying pikachu, as well as a TCG hat shiny. I assume these will become significantly rarer over the years, especially the TCG Pika.

Been watching and loving these videos. But never thought much of my collection when compared to some of these rare Pokemon. But when I heard you say the shiny winter hat Pichu was rare I got all excited and open up my game. Sure enough I did manage to hatch one!

@@valor9x7 you have to transfer another Pokémon to Pokémon home every time you want to use the box, even if it shows in your inventory you have to do this to activate it

I’m proud to say I am one of those people with the shiny beanie pichu. It’s my only shiny pichu, but I lucked out hard there.

I have one that you didn't mention, but maybe it's not all that rare. On 8/10/2019, I hatched a shiny sunhat sunglasses Pichu. I think that's probably my rarest Pokemon, unless it's my shundo bowtie Lapras.

i have got a shiny 3 star melmetal around the 3000 cp and im really proud of it, and this vid made me even prouder! ^^

There is shadow shiny mawhile cuz not only you can't get mawhile anymore, but it is also the first rotation of pokemon the team leaders have which makes it really rare

I only have one shiny Meltan but I got it completely by accident. I knew it was only available at certain times throughout the year, but I had no idea the “event” was even going on when I found it.

I got a shiny flower crown Pikachu which I evolved into a raichu and now its one of my top eletric attackers in Go battle league

The shiny smeargle is one too as it was only available in shots for a couple of days

I have that costume gengar shiny as a 100 iv pokemon. pretty happy with that one.

The shiny detective pika thing still doesn't add up. That mons shiny roll is locked to the moment the spawn is registered by your game. Just because the shiny in enabled a minute after you spawn it doesn't mean your already non shiny can just reroll as a shiny. This fact is what allowed you to get those "rolled over" shiny unowns from a spawn ID your game already registered as a shiny. What they claim doesn't seem possible as it has been shown, even by yourself, that's not how the game works.

I stopped playing Pokemom Go during the height of Covid in 2020 and came back in 2023. Happy to hear my 2019 shiny beanie Pichu and moreso my shiny fragment hat Pikachu are still so rare !! Stoked xD 🎉

I have a shiny shadow 0% alolan exeggutor from a grunt. I’m pretty sure that’s up there in rarity. You could only evolve the exeggcute into the alolan exeggutor during that exeggcute research event (which I’m pretty sure was only 3 hours long), I got the shiny shadow exeggcute from the grunt battles that were seemingly a mistake/bug from Niantic since they were supposed to come from rocket leader battles, and it was a 0% shiny to boot. I’m proud of that one, and it is likely my most rare Pokémon. I apologize for the needless flex.

I appreciate mystics comment about people getting there hopes up way to high for shinys. You shouldn’t expect to pull 30 from every event, shinys being rare is what makes them cool to get. Like he said no other game is it this easy to get them

I got the same Halloween Event Gengar with 100% (Got it from my third raid at this day), got a shiny Unknown Letter O, Shiny Abra 2x and I got a Shiny Meltan from the last Event now^^ I think that my Shiny Spiritomb and my Shiny Hisuian Braviary are missing in this list :D
