​@@richardkirkland6805 Bitter spray is only in 2, but it then evolved into ice Pikmin, which are bitter spray but you can have as many as you want, whenever you want, and they deal damage too

⁠@@TheFrantasticand ice pikmin aren’t tools, they’re a pikmin type itself so that means they’re produce-able

Here's a fun fact: In Pikmin 2, you can use a Bitter Spray on Spicy'd Pikmin and it'll reset their timer. I mostly use this for breaking down walls, but it can be used for really anything.

Guys help I kept Making pikmin pick up my car and put it down with spicy spray and now the cops are after me because everywhere I go I drive 900 miles per hour

Rock Pikmin being nerfed in combat by spicy sprays in Pikmin 4 was a jumpscare I was not expecting. When I got to the bottom of Kingdom of Beasts, it was intuition to me to spray my army of Red and Rock Pikmin to fight the two Emperors. I’m pretty sure I had a majority of Rock Pikmin, and to think that I’d been fooled into giving myself a handicap for a boss battle…

This will unlock Dandori levels I have never before imagined.

The easiest way I've found for doing the spray glitch, is to call your second captain to you and then dismiss them once they touch the spray, then run and touch the spray yourself. Its less effective in tight spaces though since you need to be on the opposite side of the nectar from the idle captain for it to work.

Awesome video! Love that you covered all games in the same video!

Because of the weird way the Spicy Spray effects damage, using Winged Pikmin + Spicy Spray is extremely overpowered, since it basically nullifies their weaker damage while still keeping the benefit of being able to fly. Once charge command and its over. (as you mentioned...)

Very well put together video. I’ll keep this in mind especially on my next replay of 4. I had no clue how strong it was, especially regarding how damage works. 20 on ice is crazy lol

There's a third way to do the spray duplication glitch, which is safer than the other methods: With both captains in your party, maneuver the second captain over the spray. He cannot drink it while in your party, but once you disband him it is easy to get the glitch.

This was an amazing and incredibly entertaining upload, I really enjoy Pikmin 1 & 2 and look forward to using sprays more in 2. Also really really need to get around to playing 3 & 4, they seem to have a load of really cool mechanics. Thanks for the upload!

I love these analyses cause i dont always know what’s going on in speed runs and theres lots of things you can do that you just dont see showcased in a speed run. It’s neat seeing these tricks out of context just to know what’s possible

Ngl I need a compilation of the speed Launch glitch, Also Sad to see Rock Pikmin be so shafted because my friend loves Rock Pikmin, can’t wait to play Pikmin 4 gain 187 Spicy Sprays and then just never use them because I don’t use Sprays in any Pikmin games including 2 it will be funny to see my big counter at the end of it lol

Oh wow sounds like they buffed rock pikmins ability to swarm a lot in pikmin 4, thats awesome. It always bugged me how it felt like my rock pikmin were really weak in 3 unless i was constantly throwing them

I think the Ujadani are supposed to be a helping hand for those not too great, you should get to WW before day 31, but if you struggle to complete it, Ujadani spawn to restock your sprays and nectar so that even if you aren't good at the game, you can still complete it. And ig the poison of them is just to make them a bit more engaging, but honestly I have no clue why they decided they'd be poisonous.

I was playing ultra spicy in pikmin 3 and needed to use either pink or blue pikmin to dig the banana across the water in the first land and immediately looked up if spicy spray increases digging speed sad to find this video but really enjoyed it

I knew I probably forgot something! According to the wiki, Spicy Spray in 3 sets digging speed equal to Yellow Pikmin, and I can confirm this with some tests. So Spicy Spray does indeed help you dig the banana faster with both types, but if you're looking for an even faster option, try chucking a bomb at it and see what happens!

icy dwarf bulborbs actually have a weird quirk with their ice. the amount of damage they take from rocks changes whther they have it or not.

In Pikmin 4 you have to throw the Rock Pikmin to knock all of them off

You can limit yourself on how many you can use, use up sprays when there's no combat to lower your supply without getting the benefit from sprays, or just not use them. Adding a setting button for needing more berries or rarer egg drops would be convoluted

Bro I'm not even gonna lie, the entire time I've played pikmin three I used the same amount of sprays that I used in pikmin one

in Pikmin 2 spicy spray is justified die to the high difficulty of that game. Everywhere else is just... crazy. I think I'm gonna do a no spicy-spray run on Pikmin 4 now

Rock pikmin are just bullied by the sprays and bullied by the berry plants in pikmin 4

In my run of pikmin 4 i got like 40 sprays at the end and even with the fact tha i use them a LOT

everyone knows the pikmin 2 purple pikmin are the most useful tool in pikmin
