Powerful discourse by Swamiji from part 18 of Srimad Bhagawatham on Prahalad’s unwavering faith and selfless devotion to 🙏Bhagawan Vishnu/Narasimh. This ‘Leela’ from Bhagawatham teaches us to engage in faithful and selfless service and devotion to God without any ask or expectation in return. Praying to God is not a business trade deal and there is no give and take transaction. Rather when one engages in selfless service and devotion to God, he shall always protect and bestow upon all his divine grace to his devotees.

One should develop deep bhav for the lord like Prahalad did. He was only a child but was not scared of the fierce form of Lord, and when asked for a boon refused to ask anything. This is the Nishkam Bhakti that we should strive for!

The Supreme Power is always their to save his devotees.. we just have to keep faith in him❤

We should only ask God for nishkam bhakti, and nothing else! ❤

We should ask God for Niskam Bhakti. Prahlad is a great example of true devotee. God takes care of them who always surrender to God.

Whether a soul is a person or a demon, we can still learn a great deal from them. Despite being a demonic being, King Bali's devotion to Vaaman Bhagavan is quite endearing. Even though his Guru had warned him that he would lose everything, he still submitted to the all-powerful being, obeyed his divine commands, followed Vaman Bhagavan's teachings, and gave up his ambition to rule as king. I humbly ask God to assist me in reaching the same degree of surrender to my beloved Guru and Hari as Bali did. I'm grateful to Swamiji for this wonderful talk.

My takeaways are, do Bhakti to develop intense love towards God for who He is and love Him without expectation, just like Prahalad and serve God selflessly as that is the true nature of the soul. God is seated within our hearts so He knows what is best for us .
