    First photo: I've seen that pose many times and always wondered why people who only knew radio always seemed to be staring at the radio as they listened. The only eason I can think of is they were actually seeing the "program" in their heads like a personal movie, especially the old stories like "Gang Busters," "Boston Blackie," "Gunsmoke," and comedies like Jack Bennie and Fibber McGee and Molly. There were dozens of them in the "Golden Age of Radio."

    Casey Drabble is the woman in the photo of the female pilot, not Shirley Slade. It was actually taken in 2016 and is a fake history photo.

    Interesting to see that the McDonald's menu from the 70s lists Coca Cola. But whenever you tried to order Coca Cola at a McDonald's (in the UK) in the 70s you got the automatic response "that's McDonald's cola".

    Great photos, but how would you know that I have "never seen" any of them. actually, I have seen some of them. I have seen Churchill as Ringo Starr; Elvis and his parents, MLK speaking and Hitler in the Reichstag, however, I have never seen zebras pulling a carriage! Thank you.
