My whole family uses Lenovo and they are great aside from one feature: the higher power laptops all use a proprietary power-connector, and not all of them with USB C (they actually even make laptops without C input) can use it as a power input.

Lenovo laptop can't compare to msi performance

Great laptop! I have last gen's max spec and I was intrested in seeing the revamped design gen over gen though, I think I'll wait until raptor lake (which is now rumored to be built on a 5nm node) and rtx 4XXX which should be a proper gen over gen bump. I'd also love to see what next generations ROG flow x13 looks like too! The level of portability on that machine is insane for how powerful it is.

@@Shoeboxcat7 I moved from a I5, 8gb ram, Gtx 1050, 60hz. To a I7, 16gb, Rtx 2060, 144hz and the difference was big I Think the main thing in any laptop is upgrading the ram to at least 16gb.

Great showcase and explanation, love what you’re doing and I’m glad it makes you want to game because we love that lol especially for a gaming laptop 🙌🏿

@@greyshield6089 Yes i do highly recommend it ,Mine has the 11th gen i7-11800H With 32gb ddr4 3200MHz Ram Rtx 3070 I do multi task a lot ,i open so many CAD files and Revit files with 3d rendering and many Excel sheets and pdf files and chrome tabs all at once ... And its like nothing , haha Fan noise while working almost not there you dont notice it, It do get loud when gaming tho.

I was considering it since it has the same spec sheet ,and in my opinion it looks nicer than the lenovo and its lighter ,and i dont care about rgb that much, But the lack of numpad was a deal breaker for me, and the thing about the exhaust fan blowing on the screen was raising some concerns in long term use ...

Love the classical music playing in the background. It’s so low I don’t even know how I heard it.

Developments like this is keeping lenovo in the competitive market. I remember just 5 years ago, they had trouble putting up with fairly new companies that made a fortune on selling "top tier spec" hardware while lenovo focused on mid range market laptops with mediocre specs. They kept their root by engaging into hardcore software improvements while making sure their products doesn't target specified customers...

I have previous Legion models from 2019 and 2021 and I have to say they are the best gaming laptops because I have never run into any problems using them compared to HP Laptops where they purposely made the mouse lag or disconnect... or the entire laptop just breaks after the warranty runs out. The conclusion is that I already know that this will be awesome.

Lenovo Gaming Laptops are perfect for people who wants a minimalist style and the crazy thing is that their i-o's are at the back which is good for cable management. Kudos ! Lenovo

I have the HP Victus 16 Real happy about that. But really impressed with Lenovo Legion.

Looking at it felt so good. 5 months of waiting isn't that hopeless after all.

Would love to get this but I just got the 2021 legion 5 pro with 3070 and I’m more than happy with it. Any laptop can have good specs, but very few can deliver a good user experience and with its hdr 16:10 screen, power mode, back light and rgb light keyboard shortcuts, and being able to choose between igpu and dGPU. Having a webcam is a must, but so is a privacy switch and mute button. Plus being able to switch refresh rates easily. Amazing laptop. A must have I would say. Hopefully it lasts me at least 3-4 years since imma be finishing university and I don’t wanna have to upgrade until I get a Job

I got my Legion 7 last year, Ryzen 7 5800H + RTX 3070. Absolutely love this laptop! Amazing performance. So the more powerful newer versions will be ridiculous

I love my Legion 5. I can only imagine how awesome the 7 is. I primarily use Stadia and GeForce Now for gaming but when I can't get what I want on those, my Legion 5 looks sooooo good.

Just bought this and i got it today very exicited

I really hope the AMD models are available soon. I've been waiting to buy a laptop for a couple months now and it sucks that the 5i and 5i pro dropped but not the ryzen variants. These look like such solid machines and even though the intel lineup this year is powerful I want something more power efficient that can get me more battery life when I'm not gaming.

Uhh? ASUS Scar and MSI raider are more powerful with all the same features. All LM, Vapor Chamber, Etc etc. You know Lenovo is just cheaper in price because it’s the CCP(Chinese government)’s endorsed manufacturer. Please stop circle jerking Lenovo already. It’s weird and just a few years ago nobody liked their products. They always just wait to drop their product last too, in case someone comes out with a new feature so they can rip it off and quickly throw it in theirs before it launches. Everything Lenovo has done has been ripped off from consumer data from MSI, ASUS, DELL, etc. all of them have spoken about having their data breached by the Chinese government. Including the vapor chamber in the Legion 7i. That was literally data stolen and used they could implement it. Imagine you make a product and China steals it from you and then sells it cheaper. Then every John Doe online celebrates chinas product that’s original ingenuity and awesome while you just sit there and watch. and when you tell John Doe this they just go “SoOoo whAt!?” And clap back like a Karen about it.

Have the Legion 5 pro myself. It was my first ever entry into PC gaming so I went fairly midtier with a 2060. Im now hooked and LOVE Lenovo's style. Your laptop doesnt look out of place at work, has perfect I/O placement, and has a great keyboard. Cant wait to try this legion 7. I think it will be my first ever "top-tier" gaming rig cuz I'll be going with the 3080 model. My dreams of one day playing at max settings may one day come true!!!

This made me feel like I'm using a primitive gaming laptop. It's good to see these innovations. 😍 Just motivates me more to dream bigger.

Good video, the new Lenovo looks excellent, I would like to know what the chassis is made of, if it is aluminum from what you can see it looks like aluminum, I love this laptop, the HP OMEN 16 seems excellent to me, quality price should HP make some slight modifications HP design I love it, nice video

Is this the only one available so far with the new set gen processors ? Also which set up do you prefer the the all ryzen or all intel ?I was wanting to check out the Corsair A1600 voyager or whatever it is when it comes out but I heard it may be fall before it comes out and I keep hearing great things about this years Lenovos

I hate it so much

LENOVO makes very reliable laptops. I've had my V570 for several years with absolutely no issues. A very solid performance from Lenovo in their lineup. I'm sold and hooked on their products for sure. I shouldn't be surprised, since they are basically "IBM". I just ordered their Legion 7i and can't wait. I upgraded my V570 with an SSD and maxed out all memory and it is lightening fast and better than when it was new. I'm giving it to my nephew but damn, i might just keep it too as the backup. lol

I feel like the only thing missing on this laptop is a oled version/touch screen/2-in-1 design. The screen already lays all the way flat, it’d be a lot more versatile with those features.

If you payed attention to where the fan exhausts are you'll realize they can't turn this specific laptop into a 2 in 1. They'd have to make a new laptop for that. However an oled display would be a nice addition, for creators especially, even though the mini led display they have is extremely good for most people.

This is my dream laptop right here! My charging port on my Lenovo E585 charging port broke so now I have nothing to play on. But if I were to get a laptop I hope this is the one. To bad my mom declines for me to get a new computer not charging port

honestly Last year i invested in 3 laptops one was the lenovo 3070 17 inch.... its massive its a desk top sitter. got my bro the rog 15 inch i think 3050 super for laptop forgot it costs less but I mean i think the size going with the 15.6 i think it its even with limited battery i feel was a bit better in the laptop department

Legion made the best overall gaming laptops last year and I expect them to retain the title this year

I am still watching, Haven't seen the full video yet, But so far I'm wondering when we are gonna see the laptop, Instead of hearing it's Specs.
