Maybe they thought his 84 rating was too high, because he was 89 rated on FIFA 22. But I'm sure that Courtois will be back to 84 rated in DLS 23.

He is 74 rated and will not appear for players who have a full maxed team or with 90+ team rating (coz mostly only 75 or 75+ after rare players appear in transfers for them), he might appear for beginners or for players with less overall team rating.

Those who bought 89 Messi can have 99 when u fully max . But after that Messi became 86 which will be 96 overall when maxed

Yeah the same way people who played the game in 2020 can have ozil 90maxed rated or De Gea for 86. But first in dls players could get maxed to plus 13rating and that's why sometimes there are people who got a 99maxed De Gea or a 97 maxed neymar who got +11 etc. But they fixed that and now only +10.
