Thanks for a great review. I’ve had my eyes on this bag and your review was so helpful. I too appreciate the feet on the bottom of the bag. As an urban dweller, in a city with dirty streets, I cringe at the thought of placing my backpack on the floor, but sometimes I’m forced to do it. Most backpacks don’t have the feet. It’s a practical feature!

I’m so happy you found it helpful!! This bag is truly phenomenal, I loved every part of carrying it!! I used to commute to Chicago, and I would have loved this for that commute - it held everything and had a place for it as well. I feel the same about setting my bags down, so I always prefer feet!! I’m always here for a feet feature ☺️

Thanks for such a thorough review! I’ve been eyeing this bag and debating on color/size so this really helped. One question though - how did your laptop fit in the small vs large?

You’re so welcome!! I’m happy you found it helpful!! So this is the large, and it did not fit my 15inch within the laptop sleeve part of the bag; however, the laptop would fit within the main compartment, so I’d then use that sleeve part to hold paperwork and folders. The large would fit a13inch with no issue - I can’t speak for the small, though, I’m sorry! Although, I think, if I remember correctly, it fits a 13inch as well (not a 15 inch)! ☺️

I was interested in the small, purely from a weight standpoint, but I’m thinking the large is what’s going to fit my needs best. Your review + answer has been a very helpful deciding factor! 😊 Also, just out of curiosity since I liked the look of their backpacks too - have you heard/tried the July backpacks by any chance?

@@paradox612 I was the very same when I commuted....I am the same now, and my commute has been halved!! So trust me, I totally get it!! This bag, despite the weight, is just so comfortable - the padded sleeves make it so nice!! So I've never heard of July backpacks, but I just looked them up to check out - these bags are so sleek!!! I'm looking at the carryall backpack = that green is gorgeous!! You'll have to let me know which you decide!!

Would you recommend the small or large? If using 13 inch lap top and frequent business traveler

so I'd still go large just because the small fits "some" 13" laptops whereas the large is designed to fit 13" laptops. So I think a large is your safer bet!! PLUS, they're 40% off right now!! :)

Hello! Thank you so much! 😊 I would say a comparable backpack from the men’s selection would be the Westholme bag; however, they have quite a few to choose from! As for this bag, I received it in the large size which is currently on sale for $388 😊

Honestly, I’m not sure! I’m so sorry! My 13” will fit but my 15” will not. It’s truly a toss up if the 14” will fit. My best advice is to email their customer service, they’re really quick (typically), and I’d ask! I hope it works out for you!!

Different color inside maybe, more finished elastics and like...inner finishings? Yes this is my third comment...I’m a slow processor 🤪😆.

LOL!! Love it!! So you can change up the inside a lot, which I love!! There's some decent customizability with this one!!

this bag would be perfect if it opened wider or better yet, had a doctor back wide mouth top opening. It seems like it would be hard to get to stuff on the bottom, let alone be able to see it. I'll have to pass, and the hunt continues! Great review!!!

Thank you!! I could actually totally see this with a doctor bag wide mouth opening!! I really love the 15" fjallraven kanken bag - although not a doctor's bag opening, it does open nice and wide down both sides so you can see everything!! I also love my Urban Southern Legacy Tote Backpack for work as well! Best of luck on your hunt! :)
