BTW after playing live some viewers started recommending other perks/skills to use and one thing thats important to note is that soul collectors is pretty much swappable for shadow touch but this build is to serve as a blue print for your guys's builds. I have been running this similar set up with cleric mix and found with the buffs I give my self, staff mastery and ignite I can one bonk lower health classes.

Just curious, why not use soul collector with dark reflection as well?

smite and savage roar on my slayer fighter is nuts, also threw in iron will

It took me like 2 hours to get my wiz from lvl 1 to 30 before the most recent patch so I was like grinding quests but it was so worth it. I also got zap from my wiz too lol

Honestly depending on gear it’s 50/50 if it’s the same gear and ur fast enuf u can run away from them but if they keep up w u ur dead I personally haven’t gotten land mines yet tho

Arcane Shield's explosion damage scales 100% with MPB. The 50% MPB scaling is for the shield amount only. Unfortunately the shield doesn't scale with any other additive though.

@@partychip yessir. Yeah the amount of damage the shield mitigates scales off of MPB at half of the percentage. So the shield scales with any magical power sources. The shield amount doesn't get a bonus from using a staff, spell book, ball or any additional damage sources. You can only really expect to get maybe 10 extra damage blocked at max scaling so nothing major but still something. Arcane shields base used to be 35 I believe which made the scaling somewhat impactful.

Only missing magic staff perk , would you run soul collect as a filler ? get that magic reflect up to 100%?

Could you try same build - however with soul collector and reactive shield? Ran this build cuz i couldnt get ice armor and had some success. Dark reflection does original ~50 dmg in addition to arcane shield dmg (~20-30) and was typically melting ppl as soon as they touched me, plus you dont need all stacks constantly to fight well

Honestly as a rogue main I’ve never really liked spell casting unless ur in a team but realistically it prolly makes more sense to run spell wheel

I'm running a cactus wizzard, dark reflection, staff mastery, demon armor and ice shield, templar armor visored barbuta, loose trousers staff and a crossbow. Haste yourself, ignite your weapon, shoot an arrow for the surprise element or fireball their legs, bonk them asses, zap if they manage to survive and try to run away. I feel like a wizzard juggernaut of the rex patrum

Dark reflection works with protection from evil so you can have dr with 0 downtime combine it with demon form and 10+ all and you have like -80debuff dura and ur super tanky

to make the build more broken you remove the shadow Touch and replace it with Protect from Evel. Why you ask ? well if you play with dark reflection you get a debuff but with protect from Evil you have it 50% faster back also when you fight against other warlock you don't take as much damage. if im not wrong your ice shield should also be faster back. wat you think about that ?

Would it not be easier to just go on your mage instead and try to get phantomize and shadow touch? instead of having to get 4 perks on your warlock from mage..

Ive wanted to cook this exact build but with ignite/invis too! Pop out of invis, bonk em on the head and if that doesnt kill them then the dark reflection/shield will! Unfortunately I keep getting spell overload and meditation in my rotations instead 🤣

Dark reflection needs its scaling removed OR a different mechanic like it only procs while your casting but it gets its damage buffed to 15 or something to compensate. It’s so unfun having to fight a class that punishes you for hitting it

I tried it already, and i might make a vid on it, but your basically hitting for ANOTHER 40-50 magical damage on top of what your hitting for. You could literally one shot a plate fighter

I think your calculations are a little off. Arcane shield has 50% scaling on the bubble portion and 100 on the damage. Magic power bonus does apply to Dark reflection aswell. It should be Dark reflection: 34 Arcane shield: 27 The additional magic damage is affected by hit location line with your staff. The true damage for the shield would be better over additional magic damage because there is no hit location. Hope this helps. I'm doing a similar build but with cleric.

@partychip when i was referring to bubble. I meant the amount of damage prevention shield that arcane barrier provides. Arcane shield it has 2 functions one to give you a barrier/ bubble that negates X damage. The second part is it doesnt X damage when your barrier/ bubble is depleted. On the wiki, the barrier part scales at a 50% ratio. While the damaging part scales at a 100% When i said line that was a to typo. The point i was trying to make with the additional damage vs true damage was additional damage scales with hit location such as head 50% more damage and legs which do 50% less damage. If your primary source of damage will be your arcane barrier and dark reflection then true damage would be better. Typing on the phone is hard sorry for the confusion.
