Yes ur right when i solo in bedwars i just create a small protection with wool and it works sometimes

I only place six blocks on the side and nothing over it bc sometimes people are stupid enough to think it clearly has to have been destroyed already

Tbh my strat is just to have obsidian covered by wool. It’ll just allow me to have time to respawn with the trap slowing them down and then just kb them away.

It's just Bedwars is old so it's only filled with people who are the most passionate about the game. There's casuals and there's try hards who both enjoy the game differently. You can't be a casual and expect wins consistently. If you want fun, play. If you want wins, play harder than others.

Maybe you’re just bad at the game

That’s why whenever I play I just push and don’t make a defense, I barely die when brainlessly pushing and when I actually need to I can just play smarter and not die. Whenever I waste time on a bed defense I usually lose it anyways because while I waste time on the defense, my opponents are already pushing me with tnt.

Personal take: End Stone forces your opponent to pack a pickaxe, glass nulls tnt, and wood forces axe usage or burn time. I played in the 4 team games though, so we DID usually have someone on bed at all times so there's that.

With bed defenses it also gives you time to actually get to the bed before they break it and it’s easier to defend than a bear bed

Just do 10 layers of obsidian. Problem solved

The defences DO buy time for people to call out inc or to hit them away, but I'm the type of guy who usually plays 4 team bedwars so there's that

Well, the fact that people can always break your defense is the entire point of the game. If there was an indestructible defense, the game wouldn't be playable. It's still a good idea to put a basic defense on, so you have more time to stop rushers

YOU NOT NEED BED DEFENCE WHEN YOU ARE NEVER DIE

You forgot about traps, such as miner fatigue. For example if some guy without tools comes at your base while you respawning miner fatigue will save you, if you have wooden defence. This is made so guys don’t instantly break your bed

Im not defending my bed because if other player kill you he can destroy your bed

My fav defense is glass with wool on top, ik it sounds weird but it actually works a lot of the time
