@@gursharansingh8042 They don't need to. There is no anti-cheat and the ban waves take months between waves. The game is as big a joke at this point as Blizzard has been over the last 5 years.

the thing is, you can only find out that your teammate is cheating from the enemy team's messages. and you can't be sure if it's true or they are just mad at a good honest player until you see potg

Not if you report bad chat it gets banned in a game or 2 but it’s just a chat ban they care if you call someone an asshole but not the people who are actually spin botting making the game unplayable id rather have my feelings hurt and play then just not play at all

Cheaters have the most fragile egos but what really makes me sad is that most times the enemy team with the cheaters are still trying or, even worse, pocketing cheaters. I'd rather lose with a cheater than giving them a single % of progession

Pathetic enemy team, the fact that the other 3 act like nothing happened and still keep playing, disgusting human being.

Also there’s so many that you take this win to get stomped next game by the same or other cheaters that’s people’s mental especially higher up you get in ranks cause it was hard enough to get there

This is the main reason why I stopped playing comp and stick to quick play now. Queuing in games between diamond 1 and masters 4 is full of aimbot and throwers

IT is truly across all ranked. im a gold 1 and i found ... 5 cheaters in the last week, probably encountered even more that i dont know about..

like its almost everytime i start up the game i come across at least 1 or 2 cheaters.

im sorry but nowadays i check every death cam, every replay of a game and single player. for me as a silver player i had numerous people cheating and nobody bat an eye and i became called out by slurs. i will report them, duh, but these games in this season are literally unplayable and i can´t enjoy them as much as i used to before. i hope this issue will be addressed and fixed

Discussion forums NGA in China are currently abuzz with this issue( and also a huge ban wave of chinese accounts). They are aware that many cheaters are using the China flag, Hangzhou Spark, or Chengdu Hunters avatars. They have also expressed the hope that the Chinese servers can be restarted so that the cheaters can return to that servers, allowing other servers to return to their original state. and also the reason they are not afraid of being banned is because they can buy an account on Taobao for just $1 USD...without any verification.

I'm from EU and I started playing on NA east servers. On EU I was getting 1 cheater every 10 games, now on NA east I have 1 every 3 games

The only anti cheat in the game is Bob and Tom looking at reports or catching them on streamers games.

I like that the cassidy still died to the bastion ult one of the easiest to flee LOL

Agreed on never seeing this issue across many years. During my climb in OW I ran into 1 maybe 2 cheaters EVER. Like over 1,000+ hours. I loved being able to tell my friend he’s completely wrong for accusing everyone of cheating lmao

Console is unbearable as well. So many Ximmers in Masters and above. I just can’t understand how they are not fixing these problems ASAP. With all that money and resources they have , it’s mind blowing

Supposedly blizzard doesn’t ban players as soon as they catch them, they wait a bit and try to wave ban so that cheaters can’t just determine what they were caught for, so that they can’t just do some minor alterations and be right back

This ammount of cheaters, DDOS and stuff and the silence of blizzard regarding that makes me think they had some sort of security breach and have been trying to fix it

I feel like in the past people have sometimes tried to manufacture artificial outrage over a completely imagined "cheater epidemic" bc they have one bad experience with a cheater and assume everyone else is having the same issue on a widespread scale and consistent basis. This time though, it very much seems to be a real epidemic of cheaters. Me personally, I returned to this game at the beginning of 2022 and have been here for every Season of OW2 (except S5, that Season had nothing lol). Prior to S8 to my knowledge I'd only ever seen one cheater in my games. Then I saw another cheater in S9... A couple more in S10... and now in S11 I've seen 5 already. I used to hardly ever have to report, but honestly, now if anything I'm worried I'm gonna become hyper-paranoid with how often cheaters are popping up. Literally just yesterday in QP I ran into a cheating DPS duo, and I sussed out they were cheating immediately... but then when things started going better later in the game and we actually managed to pull off a ludicrous comeback and win off of a 4-minute long overtime push across the entirety of Esperanca, I started to think I must have been wrong and that I was being too paranoid. Checked the vod. The Cass is locking the centre of my head through walls all game, and so is the Genji. *what the fuck.* Literally, even after 12 minutes straight of running Tracer into a hacking Genji Cass duo, I still ended the game unsure if I was being paranoid and I don't think anyone on our team noticed aside from me. Now if anything I worry if it's even more widespread than we thought, but some people are just better at hiding it than others...

I've been playing since midseason 3 of ow1 and I've never seen the game this bad. Every time i play i always find at least 1 person that's susge... suddenly so many people with amazing hitscan aim and 300 dollar headphones, eh? 🙃

its not only gm/t500 lobbies that have cheaters, im a low elo player and there are lottss of triggerbot and aimlock cheaters.. its so frustrating... i wish blizzard was a bit more harsh when it comes to cheaters.

Yup even in qp - had a sombra play like ass first round and then started popping off second round. Enemy tank called out for cheating and i checked after and they were definitely hard locking on center of mass lmao. And they were active in team chat too?? Another qp match with enemy zarya with aim lock. Shit is so annoying. I encountered maybe 2 cheaters in qp in the previous 5 years of playing and had 2 in less than 2 months.

Just wait until you get faced with an aimbotting rage hacking Pharah, Widow and Mauga on the same team... It happened to me the other day. Blizzard are closing their eyes on this issue, which is just sad, because this means that the game will be completely dead by the end of the next season. Ban waves is hands down the worst way of dealing with cheaters, as it enables them to cheat for weeks up to months at a time, which ruin the entire game for so many. By using ban waves they're hurting the franchise as well as the player base in more ways than one.

The fact the apex community is having the exact same problem is CONCERNING

Sadly, QP is filled with cheaters as well. When they get banned, they just get a brand new (FREE) account... if they had to pay 60 bucks for a new game, this would lower the amounts of cheaters.

Nothing will change as long as Blizz is getting their money and their players.

Can't go a day now without at least 4 out of 10 games having cheaters. I never played Comp in OW 1, tried it last season 10 got to Gold 1 support, then quit comp due to this problem, I just play QP now for fun.

And this level of cheaters is why i was always weary of free to play, when accounts are free whats the worry?

i play in console.... LMAO but its so sad to see this its like when i play in a wide group and i have to 1v1 the grandmaster :c

Yea the ai bots with cheaters are not a good combo since the bots “grow” based on teammates skill qp has pretty much became ranked and u gotta play guess who on the diamond player or cheats 😂

Honestly man? With the state the game is in, Blizzard deserves this. I don't at all support cheating in MP games, but the dev team already made this game unplayable before the cheating problem got out of hand, so a part of me hopes this wave of cheating continues for a very long time. Maybe it will force a lot of the appologist streamers to finally quit.

all the cheaters are coming from tf2, because they all got VAC or game banned maybe.

@@gichiarellodo you have cross play enabled? Cause I play with pc all the time in my enemy teams and trust they can cheat just as fast as an all pc game it’s not a secure server just cause you’re console but I guess good for you not facing cheaters

I left this game a long time ago, it's only fun when it was 6v6 scrims, no double shields. I miss those days. Even Goats is more fun that what you've got with OW2

You can't draw control maps, literally impossible. The other team should of stopped trying and take the loss. That's the only honorable thing. It sucks but is better then encouraging cheaters getting more SR.
