Mat’s got his hands on a London taxi that has been kitted out with SO much tech and luxury materials, and he’s about to show you what it comes with!
The star of the show here is in the back. The basic 3 seats have been removed and swapped for two luxury electrical reclining seats. The leather used throughout the car is the same as what you’ll find in a Bentley! The luxury doesn’t just stop with the seats, though. There’s also a fridge, a TV, built-in tables, and even an electronically operated sun blind built into the glass roof!
But of course, all of this luxury doesn’t come cheap. The car we’ve got our hands on here costs over £130,000!! But do you think it’s worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

Yh, once, I was somewhere out in the sticks, wondered what a London Taxi was doing out in the middle of nowhere, when it came much closer, realised it was a Cullinan with dark chrome. Lol.

Michael O’Leary from Ryanair did the taxi in the bus lanes thing in Dublin years ago, got his car and driver registered as a taxi to get around Dublin quicker.

I agree, I love it for its under the radar quirkiness. My father had a Maybach and it draws eyes everywhere. With this no one would give a second look, but in a good way. I was laughing when you were taking it through the 'twisties'. I was waiting for you to go the wrong side of a hedge. Loved this video, thank you.

This doesn't look good or isn't as practical though. Only 2 passenger seats, no trunk etc . Mercedes cars are quite subtle though cuz most people can't tell the difference between it and other benz types

I wouldn't go for the white - you'd be cleaning it all the time. For the family version,Mum's taxi, I'd go for the hockey team interior. I do like the styling,nice and solid looking, good for when other bits bounce off as a result of terrible vision. More cameras Jeeves. Great turning circle.

I could see this being ideal for a luxury taxi company, that offers the usual practicality but added comfort for passengers. As a luxury car though, it does look very taxi-ish. You can opt for the TX-Shuttle though to remove the taxi lights! The website is pretty cool with all the configurations you could possibly want. It would be nice to upgrade the wheels to something more sporty. 😁

The Japanese have been doing this kind of thing for years usually called Royal Lounge check it out even electric curtains!
