reversal armor or kameo invincible moves that dont cost meter after 11 can help, assists like scorpion b+rt/r1 pull you back full screen, there are many defensive options. You cant just block because of block damage and meter buildup on block, hope this helps :)

@@glatzenklatscher-polierdie3190 That is not really true brother, jC has very short range on his normals n no fireball, he has to get in on you, and since all his overheads that lead to combos are reactable he indeed needs plus frames. You dont have to deal with the situation (having him on your face) if you play around not getting in such situation to begin with, grab him more to build space and go for d4 as soon as you get a turn into backdashes to gain breathing room etc. ps: i dont play JC in mk1

I think to counter Johnny in terms of balance is him having lowest HP for n the game yes he is very strong up close but it would scale him down if you had to hit him less and it would hit him cause he's still be good just with 150 or 200 less hp

I couldn't afford MK1 this pay cycle and really want to play a new fighter so instead I picked up Thems fighting herds, and was honestly pleasantly surprised with how in depth and fleshed out the combat and combos were. Will be picking up MK1 next tho

I haven’t played online yet but there is something about the axe bounce after the knee. I can’t understand the timing. Sometimes I nail it constantly, then I can drop it ten times straight. Might be a controller issue. The demand for precise timing is stupid as hell.

Go for Motaro or Sektor. Motaro is really good for 50/50. Turning them into combos. Having shield to protect you and reflect projectile. And sektor throws the rocket to force 50/50 and timing it makes it safe. And you can do the sektor teleport on neutral far away to do damage

I don't know if messing with Johnny's game data would be the correct nerf I honestly think Johnny should have Low HP just like Serena but nerfing Johnny I think is harder then Raiden and Baraka I think Raiden either needed a damage nerf or his combo extenders should have been as punshable as scorpions spear both the cartwheel and lightning grab are not punshable the most you can get is d1 out of both and if they are block your getting punched so Raiden need either to be more punishable or a damage nerf and baraka/Cyrax they nerfed cyrax's record time and damage I main baraka and I'm not 100 percent sure he got a damage nerf I think it was Cyrax I was still hitting hard with Stryker then I was when playing Cyrax I believe General Shao deserved to have his overhead cancels lto special moves as it would probably help him out a bit

​@LuisHenrique-gn9mk I got to grandmaster with General Shao and Sektor. Most scorpions at that rank are extremely patient, and it's really hard to open them. My only advice would be to not over commit to any block strings, that butthole will keep note on any negative on block attacks and punish you really hard.

Using the hype meter is tough because its hard to setup safely, not including u can only combo off it with Stand 4, unless u catch them mid juggle but even thats not a guarantee you'll land it
