definite warning for the rina kent universe lol. the college series is intense and it's all haunting adeline level of dark. it's the kind of dark romances where it's like "aw he only broke 4 of her fingers instead of 5" 😅

i will never be the same after reading Manacled. It’s been more than three years since i read it for the first time, and i think about it daily prepare some tissues 🥲

the goldfinch is my favorite book ever! it seriously means so much to me and absolutely adore it

I finished Manacled a few days ago and I’m still not okay. It was a 6/5 stars. Incredible, sobbed my way through it 🥹

The Rina Kent universe is a rollercoaster. The books may seem repetitive tbh but some of them are one of my favourites ever. The monster trilogy means everything to me.

I read the first few books in Rina Kent’s Royal Elite series and it was rough. I like dark romance but the high school setting was off putting to me.

Manacled was (and still is) the most intense, insane reading experience I’ve ever had. I *immediately* reread the entire thing, and then read the 2nd half over again for 3rd time. In a row. I cannot recommend it enough

Heather OHMIGOD I felt the exact same intimidation for Rina Kent books because there were so many of them but I recently started listening to the audiobooks AND OMG DONT READ THEM, LISTEN TO THEM INSTEAD!!!! I am a changed woman, I have fully embraced my psychopathic, deranged, unhinged side, and I do not regret anything

Rina Kent is one of my absolute favorite authors! It looks to daunting but to books are so easy to get through!

i loved the goldfinch i finished in in a little under 3 weeks which is so fast for me

So I started the Rina Kent universe with the Legacy of Gods series(the most recent series) and it’s basically following the children of the other books but you don’t have to read those to understand LoG. God of Fury changed me, I will never be the same. It was absolutely worth the read. I will say, they are pretty dark. I fell in love with the universe and will be reading her entire backlog now. However, I know that some are big hitters and some are not so great.

Manacled is 6/5 stars. I read it twice this year and I promise, you will not regret it...

Came here to say that Manacled will absolutely, 1000% WRECK you emotionally but it’s so worth the read! I was crying for days after finishing it, my brain chemistry was altered… I STILL think about that story and the last line ruined me…. But it was a great story & you must read it!

Don't know much about the reading order of Rina Kent, but loved the deception trilogy soooo much

I totally skipped the royal elite series, almost all rina kent books are written as a standalone (except the duology or the trilogy) So it's less scary reading it in the order of your own choice!!

I love Donna Tartt and loved The Goldfinch. It's a good read or you can stream the movie. 😀

If ur intimidated by Manacacled u should start reading some more lighthearted Dramione fanfics before hand. The Gloriana Set is a really funny Dramione fanfic that takes place during 8th year.

I've read a large majority of Rina Kent's books. It's hits a misses. There are some 5 stars I won't shut up about. There are some that I couldn't finish and had to dnf.

Manacled changed me as a reader. That is all i'm going to say lol.

i remember reading the goldfinch after the secret history ... i wanted to dnf it so bad but i'd read so much of it, i finished it out of spite so i could rate it 1 ⭐i was upset at how donna tartt decided to represent mental health in this book

The 4 rina kent's books that i read, didn't like any of them it was so intense and toxic (in a bad way) I mean It's no for everyone, but for several reasons the men in rina Kent's books makes me lesbian (in my opinion)

personally wasn’t a fan of rina kent books as all books have SA and rape and it’s too romantized especially by the fandom, they seem brainwashed and keep defending it but it’s certainly out okay

I dnfed goldfinch because i got bored. I felt the same way about the secret history tho so… I’m sorry lol maybe you’ll love it. Manacled!!!! I read it back in April and I want to reread so bad. I love pain apparently 🥲 and I guess you can read it a different way the 2nd time that somehow hurts more??? Also same with the rina kent universe but I pulled the plug this week actually and started with god of malice because I need to get to the new book. I can’t take being left out of the hype any longer. I can always go back to the older books if I want.
