Dahis and Al-Ghabraa is one of the pre-Islamic wars between two branches of the Ghatfan tribe, namely: Abs and Dhibyan, and it and the Al-Basous war, the Al-Fajjar war, and the Baath war are among the longest wars that the Arabs lived and fought in the pre-Islamic era It is the war that demonstrated the combat capabilities of Antarah bin Shaddad, and he died in it at the age of eighty years due to a poisoned arrow fired by a knight named Al-Laith Al-Rahees, who had been blinded by Antara in that war, and the war ended with the defeat of the tribe of Abs and the end of their power
