Hey, thank you! It takes time, but a keen eye for detail and good prices is the key to growth. That said, while I’m not sure where you’re located, access to online auctions, estate sales and pawnshops are a great way to located deals. Another method I use is Facebook marketplace

It’s been a great box for sure. I’ve seen several on KZread, but not as loaded down as mines. That said, they can hold a lot and I’ve not experienced any issues with the slides, bearings, etc. The only issue I have is the price. When I bought mine, I only paid $1200. Now their up to $1698… that’s a lot, and a major reason why I elected to buy something cheaper

I bought them from a guy that ran an online business called Apex Organizers. They are 3D printed, and I believe the designs are on a open-source server, so anyone can print their own. There are a number of other individuals that also make a similar holder

That’s cool but I couldn’t handle having all these options. Less is more in my opinion. That setup and all you have is a massive asset in case you need to free up some cash fast.

  • @MidwestToolReview

It’s annoying sometimes and you find yourself using the same sets repeatedly. Nonetheless, if I had to liquidate tools to free up cash, the ROR would be higher based on the brands I have, versus owning cheaper brands.

Hi Merrick, cool name by the way! I only spent $3k on my tools because I purchased nearly everything from a Snap-on dealer who’d just retired. In 2019-2021, I was selling thousands of dollars in tools to my audience to help my retired dealer liquidate his inventory. Snap-on Corporate bought a ton back from him, but he also sold a lot to the general public before they came calling. Now, nearly everything I purchased for myself was warrantied if it was damaged or broken. Because of my professional and personal affiliation with Snap-on, I was able to get things taken care of. Results may vary for others…nonetheless, that’s my total investment, and to be really honest, I rounded up to $3k…I’m probably more like $2.0k-$2.5k all in…

Yessir.. I met a retiring Snap-on dealer and over time, we became friends. He sold me thousands but I only paid pennies on the dollar. That said, I built my setup from the ground up.
