the biggest crime happened here was: Arena flooding Nummy in the last game
I was your final boss, fun to watch that game from your perspective! That deck was 100% built around the core of 3x Brimstone Roundup, 3x Highway Robbery, and 3x Vault plunderer. I picked up the pitiless carnage way late and decided to try it. Man, did it do work. The flood at the end was rough, but I was digging for answers hard in the middle of the game and thought I was screwed! Keep up the good work - love the channel!

Huh interesting! I honestly didn't think your deck was too strong but it did work and won, so gg :)

Around 1:09:35 was hoping you'd play around the fury by pinging and using the token to block instead of the 1/3. Having that around still could have made a big difference if they didn't hit a removal spell to get rid of it right away, especially since you drew the second at knifepoint
Hey listeners! I'm a casual MtG player who only plays the draft format and gets stuck at Platinum. Kenji's videos are always educational and fun to watch! Is there a dedicated video where he teaches us how to pick cards in the draft format or even to systemize the game itself? What do you think are the common mistakes that novice players make? Love from Japan.

If there's one thing I learn from Kenji drafting, it's that there isn't a hard card pick order. Numot drafts a deck, and takes what he needs to make his deck work.

Due to how the Rank System in Arena works, it's perfectly normal to get stuck at Platinum. Even if you have a solid winrate, you have to play a lot to get past platinum. Kenji doesn't have a dedicated "how to draft" video, but you learn a lot just by watching his normal drafting. Best way to learn drafting is to watch good people draft and to draft yourself. Besides maybe P1P1 there is no real pick order and it all depends on the pod.

I recommend watching the two videos that NicolaiBolas made with Greg Michel and Arne Huschenbeth, who are both Pro Tour drafters. Their insight is great and it opened my eyes as to how I evaluate my cards. I didn't quite get the hang of how to draft with play boosters yet, but now I understand it.
RB crimes are so fun. One of my first drafts of the format was a really fun RB outlaw/crime-deck, and it really helped me warm up to this format.
When you play on Mtg arena; “that’s magic baby” is your daily affirmation!😅
Damn an hour and fifteen minute video this deck must do well!
So…crime DOES pay!?!

Only if you’re a Crime Prime member.
Those first couple games were insane draws. The massacre!
Splashing for Double Down was nuts. So broken. Killer deck.
So far, every time I've seen R/B be open, it's *absurdly* open. In one draft, I got Jasper, Akkul, Knifepoint, two rakish crews, and THREE Hellspur Brutes and Prickly Pairs, each.
This was an incredible deck :D Dang :)
all it was missing was a jasper flint

You mean double Jasper right? Because he always gets 2 in row :p
what's your favorite set for land art? unglued 98 for example
Great content as usual man. Thank you.
at 58 minutes, why deraillement couldn't have work on the tycoon prior to take up the shield resolution?? i don't see it!

Was thinking the same thing, but then I realized opp could sac the token to make tycoon indestructible in response to derailment
@Nicromatic

Effect of the creature means that opponent can sacrifice token to gain indestructible.
oh yeah, it's all coming together
Every time he says Posse Boss I hear Pink Guy saying it in my head.
Third game was excellent, double down plus verge on armadillo, despite redirected derilment
1:02:33 why not attack with plunderer? 2 to face straight away, then another 2 or they double block for menace and get blown out by salvo.
Fifteen minutes in this deck is disgusting lol. Something tells me this draft might go better than this morning’s.

I don't know if I can tolerate the Akul Rogue Outlaw erasure

heartbreaking ending
You passed several Derailments at the end. Do you not value it that highly?
We should all go to great lengths, a lengthy journey, nor width or height will reach the lengths of our efforts. Not to mention video lengths, for a long length of time!
Surprised he passed Overwhelming Forces. That's a game winning bomb every time.
Lane was so open lol
Fast decisions = Punt.
Does he say Double Down doesn't work with Akul? Akul is a rogue!

at least 1 too many lands... mana curve was plenty low enough to add one more playable you avoid all that nasty flooding... fuck Arena, lol
The other crime: Nummy not remembering when a creature has first or double strike
