Right, there were some contractors in Germany, who had the GTK1000. But the Windturbines quickly outgrew that crane. I saw one at a Powerstation-site in Duisburg-Walsum in 2008. But then a hydraulikline broke and the oil got sprayed all over the site. Not good, the crane was dismanteled and never seen again.
The design of the Sany crane is nothing new. It was first introduced with the Grove GTK 1100 about 15yrs ago.
