Even though this pair of kicks isn't exactly the most hype pair in the world, this project turned out to be one of the most important restorations that I have ever done. The lessons that I learned during this project were invaluable and will certainly be applied to all of my future gluing projects.

You can remove the excess glue with Acetone, so that it could look cleaner.

you certainly can, but then you run the risk of damaging the actual reglue itself! Much easier to get solid lines to begin with to reduce the overgluing and spiderwebbing in the first place.

Understood, another method I use when regluing is taping all areas that you do not want any excess glue, just remove the tape as fast as possible, so that the glue doesn't come off in a layer. You did a great job!

I totally agree with the taping; I just hate the extra prep work😅 probably should start getting used to it though! thanks so much for the suggestion for sure.

Appreciate the feedback, obviously this isn’t a good reglue which is why this is one of the most important ones I’ve ever done because it was such a learning experience. I’m obviously not bragging about how good it was, I’m trying to help others learn from my mistakes. Hopefully you learned something too. Thanks for watching.
