    @@laurenball_illustrator I intended this remark as humour, but actually philosophy has always been way beyond me. Many will hate me for saying this but philosophy doesn't even seem "real" science to me. At least not in the sense like other exact sciences, it's more like 'meta-science".

    @@HoSza1 I agree with you, it took me a long time and research to try and have this make sense as it applies to my art. That's the main reason I didn't go into detail on each of the gestalt principles. I did find the overall idea of "the whole being more than the sum of the parts" to be a helpful idea to pull all the fundamental drawing skills together. And I did pick up on your humour, I appreciate your comment! Thanks
